What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

I had a great week.We did characters I wrote one page and two lines. In hockey I scored three goals and blocked a shot. It hurt. We did sgraffito. We were using a toothpick. We played basketball. Our team won and we got a little bit of free time I played hockey I scored the winning goal!
I had a great week
Is it seriously Friday already? This week I sick for three days. I was sick on Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday. While I was not sick I had so much fun. When we did sgraffito I had lots of fun. First we started with drawing an elephant then we colouring it in with oil pastels. Then we used acrylic paint over top of our elephants. Now we are carving designs on our papers.XD
WOW! This week went so fast :)!
This week we learned about time.We learned about an analog clock and a digital clock. For the analog clock we did minutes after and minutes before. To practice we practiced in groups.
In our characters book we wrote about making a difference. We wrote about it because Ms.Newton daughter Dana is doing this operation smile. They fix people’s mouths. They do it in Cambodia. Cambodia is fifteen hours ahead of Canada.
We used clay to make smiles. It was so much fun! After we used sponges and dipped them in red paint and then dabbed the sponges on the lips after that we mad prints.
THIS WEEK WAS SO MUCH FUN!!:)
Did someone press a button? Time is going way to fast. We started our characters yesterday, it was all about how to make a difference. But first we watched a video about making a difference. It made my friend cry, it was emotional for her. We made smiles with clay, then we did five prints. We did it for a website called opsmilecambodia.wordpress.com
Yesterday we started using a toothpick
to make designs. My toothpick broke in half I had to hold half of it. We used oil pastels to color it. It turned out really good! Its called sgraffito.
I end up learning times and time, I bet your confused. The first one mean x the second one means something like 3 o’clock. There are before 3 and after 3. Question: Do you have a analog or digital clock? So analog looks like this, 3 o’clock, digital looks like this, 3:00.
We formed a song group and we made up song, to us it sounds pretty good. We do it at silent reading sometimes.
Mr.Mackay teaches us gym we now start learning how to dribble it. Then we got some free time yesterday.
Today we got super easy spelling words it’s o easy!!!!!!! 🙂
Now I run out of things to write, 😐 give me a sec………
Got it!! fluffy1000 saying bye, so bye!
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 😉 Pee wee
Someone’s been touching the fast forward button! This week has gone by so fast. The best thing about this week was getting to write in our Characters book. Our topic was how we can make a difference to the world, family, and friends. Oh I almost forgot Ms.Newton’s daughter Dana is taking part In Operation Smile (It is an organization for people who have a cleft palate). Dana is participating in the country next to Vietnam, Cambodia.
This week we also did this art called sgraffito. First we drew an elephant, colored it with oil pastels, painted it with acrylic paint, and finally were picking it with a toothpick. For the Operation smile we made smiles to make us feel better 🙂 I had a WONDERFUL week 🙂 You never know what can happen in the comin days, weeks, months, and years (even centries) I better be quiet now…….. La La La La La…… Oh did you know that Oh and also that the………….. La La La La La …………… Oh I just can’t be quiet Yikes………… Everything goes by to fast that it feels like you haven’t even done what you were doing. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Have a great day………………………….La La La La La. Bye!
This week was spectacular! Spectacular is my word of the week. What word am I going to have next week, but thats a different story. The acrilic paint has dryed and we’ve just started making the disigns. It will take alot of patients, but it worth it. We’ve disided that the disigns need to be close together so it would look more spectacular. Just taking the time to draw the lines( I am going to say ) are just spectacular! There so much disigns to chose from! I’m going bottom to up. When school was over everyone said we could sleep over and do sgrafitto.
We also wrote a thing on our character about how can we make a difference. And really, how can we make a difference? When you help someone you feel good and the person also feels the same. Whats grater than feeling happy? And last week when I handed in my characters, my teacher said it was phenomenal!
And when it was gym, we practiced our basketball dribbling skills. Then our gym teacher gave us numbers. And I was either 2vs2 or 3vs3. My number was callled up first and I scored, and the other team had to run 1 time around the gym. It was quite amusing ( haha ). But the other team started winning but I loved running so I didn’t mind running 1 lap around the gym.
This week was S P E C T A C U L A R!
