What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Guitars went well for me this week because we got to practice our Christmas songs for our assembly on December the 11th. Gym went well for me this week because first we ran a lap then we went inside and played hockey. Characters went well for me this week because we wrote about an achievement so my achievement was about soccer. Ms. Lau taught us Garage Band on the computer. In Garage Band we need to put some little songs together then we play it so then we can hear the music. We can use lots of instruments like guitar and piano.
It was a great week! While I was ready for my first project of the day, we started to do spelling and I got 9+ because I got through wrong.
After spelling, we did math I got all 15. I was HAPPY!!! We did guitar for 2 HOURS because we are practicing our Christmas songs. Right now, we are doing computers!
IT IS AN AWESOME DAY!!!
My favourite thing about this week is guitar because we practiced a few songs for our assembly. First we did four songs and Ms Newton told us we are going to vote which ones we are going to sing in the assembly. On Thursday we watched the Peter Pan movie because we just read the book. It was funny and amazing. Also we drew a character for Peter Pan. I picked Wendy from the movie.
This week was awesome! For guitar we were preparing for the Christmas assembly and the songs we were singing were Old Toy Trains, Jingle Bells and Christmas time’s A coming.Then we did computers and we had to do Raz kids and if we were good we would get free time after 10 minutes we got free time. On Monday we had a substitute teacher, Mr Sala and my sister was in his class. Then another day we did computers and Ms Lau taught us a new app called Garage Band and it was a lot of fun.
This week Ms. Lau taught my class Garage Band and I love it. Also we did characters and we made a trophy for my achievement. It was cool. On Wednesday we started off with painting. Today in the gym we practised our Christmas songs for the assembly next Thursday. The songs are Jingle Bells, Christmas Time’s A Coming and Old Toy Trains. We will sing them with our guitars. It will be AWESOME. I am thankful for the light.
This week was the BOOK FAIR I bought a lead pencil, uv pen, eraser/pencil sharpener, remote control eraser, book mark and a water colour art set. It was. on Wednesday we looked up brain facts I learned 37 fact about our brain. one of the fact where 60% of our brain is fat. We painted a drawing with primary colours they are red,blue,yellow.Today my class and I learned a new song for Chrisms.
