What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
On Wednesday I went to the book fair. I bought a book called Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Old School. Yesterday I studied about our brain. I learned that our brain has billions of neurons and if you want to count it all, you need at least 3 years. I also learned that you can eat to makes your brain smart.
This week went well for me. I played guitar and learned two new cords C and D7. Then another day we did gym and we played volleyball and it was fun. Then we went to computers we did studying about the brain. Then after we did studying about Albert Einstien. He could measure the speed of light with chocolate.Today we had a spelling test and I got all the words correct.
This was a great school week! We wrote amazing brain facts! like we have 70,000 thoughts a day! and by 2023 the average $1,000 laptop will be just as fast as the human brain, but not now. At the book fair I bought two books. One was Rocks and the other was Space Balls.
On the 16th we had a BOOK FAIR!! I got 2 books the first book I got was Dairy Of A Wimpy Kid Old School and the second book I got was called Puppies and Kittens. I also got some eraser animals, uv pen and an eraser/sharpener. On Wednesday we looked up about the brain here are some facts 1. Your brain uses 20%of the total oxygen and blood 2. The smell of chocolate increases the brain waves and is good for relaxation. On Thursday we did art and we used the primary colours.
On Wednesday my class and I searched up facts about the brain.These are some facts. We have more brain cells as a newborn baby. When you learn something new the structure of your brain changes. Also we painted a picture with the primary colours. It was fun! Yesterday I had homework club. You get snacks and then you do homework. I am thankful for the light.
My favourite thing about this week is the book fair because I got the new Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. It called Old School. Also I got a pen it has different colours to use and I got a pencil. The colour was green. Also on Friday it was my birthday I got candy for the class. On Tuesday we did art we used primary colours to paint. We only used red, blue and yellow.
