What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Characters went well this week because we got to make our pets and we got to write about them. Guitars went well for me this week because we got Christmas song books so we played all of the songs. Learning about the brain went well for me this week because there were lots of cool facts like we have 70,000 thoughts a day, your skin weighs the twice of you brain. Book Fair also went well for me this week because I got to get cool things. Even art went well for me this week because we got to paint a picture that we dew with the primary colours and the primary colours are yellow, red and blue. It was a fun week.
It was a GREAT week! Ms. Newton said ” maybe they will talk about Adam’s apples at the assembly”! They are going to bring a bowl of apples and we are invited to share and talk with a friend when we eat. At the assembly, there was something really important, it is called” a Buddy Bench”. When you sit at the buddy bench when you don’t have a friend, somebody will come and ask you if you want to play with them. Today is the last day for the book fair. At guitar, we played some Christmas songs.
I WAS SO HAPPY!!!
This week we did lots of art and we also got to play guitar. Today we learned the chords in guitar C and D7 it was so fun. Today we had an assembly about this thing called the buddy bench and how if you sit on it it means you need someone to play with and after a minute or two someone should come and invite you to play with them and their friends. Then a girl told us about Adam’s Apples. We are getting a bowl of apples and we can go and eat one and talk to someone else.
This week we painted our leaf art project with sponges and the colours were red, brown, pink, yellow, orange and green. On Monday the GIANTS!! came to our class to tell us that we are getting free tickets to their game and if we want them to sign a poster or any thing else we want them to sign that will sigh it for us. On Tuesday we had a Remembrance Day assembly we sang Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream.Today we played volleyball and we measured the track how long it is, it’s 5.3 km and in the gym on the black line you have to run eight laps to run 5.3 km.
A guy named Bob he gave money for WGW we made a card to thank him we all signed it to thank Bob for what he has done for WGW. Also, I made a new friend her name is Tayler she was beside me when it was the Remembrance Day.
It was an amazing week!!!
Today went well but I almost got hit by a ball near the pod door and it was pizza day today. On November 10th, it was the assembly for Remembrance Day and we sang a special song. This week we made our pets for our characters in our characters book.
Today at lunch I ran a lap with my friend Kyle. When we finished running,Kyle said”Let’s run our other lap later, now let’s play grounders.” So we played grounders with the others. After we finished playing grounders, Shreya said”let’s play monkey bars take.” But monkey bars are covered with water, so we ran our second lap. After we ran that lap, the bell rang. So we went inside to work on our whats gone well today.
