What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week was a great week. We had an assembly, it was about the people in war who died. I was sad because the people had died. We also did art, computer, Kahoot we also did characters, we made our pet. It was fun. I went to guitar club it was fun too. We also did math, gym and spelling test. The Giants came to our class too, we also played a game, it was fun! I am thankful because Bob gave money to WGW so I can still write on WGW. I am also thankful because Ms.Newton had taught me a lot of things and I think I am very lucky to be in this class!!!
This week went well for me. I did guitar club with my friend. Then a person told me to play the piano so then I did. The song I played was called Canon in D. Then after we started to play guitar. Also for computers we played Kahoot and that was fun. Then on Thursday we did characters and we made our own pet. I made a puppy so what we did is we made it so when you open the book the mouth will pop out. Then next week I think we will do the writing for him. Today is Friday and we did gym first we did volleyball and I got to choose my favourite ball which is the pink ball. Then we went out for a run. We were getting timed for one lap it took us 3 minutes to do one lap. But my favourite part is when we did math. I had a really fun week.
We had a great week! This week we made a pet for our characters. I made a pet cat for my character. It’s name is Fudge. We even had the Vancouver Giants come to our class to tell us about being active for 30 minutes and reading for 15 minutes. We went outside to get a leaf so we could do leaf rubbings! Later we rubbed the leaf on a piece of paper with a black wax crayon and then we painted them.
Today we had gym and for gym we played a game. How we play the game was there will be five balls in the middle. After Ms.Newton blows the whistle we try to get one of the balls that are in the middle when we have a ball in our hands we can’t walk backwards. We just have to dodge it. This week we did characters and for characters we made paper pets my paper pet is a dog it looks so cute!
This week we did characters and we made paper pets it was fun. After Ms.Newton told us about Adams apples. There will be a bucket full of apples and kids will take one and then you get to eat it. Also we might get tickets from the Giants to go to their hockey game. I hope i get to go. Today we had gym and we played with the volleyballs. Also today we had guitars and I tried to change all of the chords. I am thankful for the world.
On Remembrance Day we watched about the soldiers in war. It was sad but I still managed to be quiet. Something we also did is we played dodgeball. I really enjoyed it because it was fun to be dodging balls. I am really excited about the book fair because I really like to buy new books and read them!!
