What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
I had an AWESOME week! We did characters and they went to Disneyland. We got a map that shows all the rides.
We also started hip hop today we have to show our dance in front of the whole school. I’am kind of nervous but it will be fun 🙂 What a GREAT week 🙂
I had a great week. We did Disneyland for our Characters. It was fun because I learned about all the rides at Disneyland and I even learned when it started, it was in 1955!!!
We have been learning a Hip Hop dance. Our song is Tightrope, we have been working on it all week. Today we are doing our dance in front on the whole school!
It has been fun to learn about time. We have been studying two kinds of clocks, analog and digital. I have both kinds at home.
This week was so much fun! We got to learn hip hop and we have to dance in front of the school. I am so scared because we have to dance today.
This week we also got to go to Disneyland we got to write in our characters book about Disneyland.It was so much fun! We got to see a map about Disneyland. Did you know that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth? Today is pizza day I want to eat pizza. I hope it is so good I what to eat pizza today. 🙂
I had a great week:). We started Hip-Hop. It was fun learning the moves. But it was hard at first but we did it a lot so we got better. Today we have to perform in front of the whole school. I am a little nervous today. We only had three classes. But some other classes have four. So in the beginning she said to work extra hard so we won’t mess up.
We wrote in our characters book about going to Disneyland. It was so fun! I wrote about his arrival, the first day and the next days.
This week flew by again! We did sgraffio and we just needed a piece of paper and then we had to pick any picture of an elephant and when we finished it we coloured it with a kind of crayon. We had to colour each part of the picture a different colour. When we had finished colouring we had to outline it with a black crayon. once we finished it. We had to get a little bucket of acrylic and some soap in it to make it sticky. We had to dip the brush in and stir it a little.And then make you brush go horzontly. Once that was done we carefully put the piece of paper on a thick cardboard paper. Now what we need is wait untill it drys.
Have you ever made a mini character? Well if you haven’t heres how. First draw a mini person a small piece of construction paper and when you finished drawing your little character you cut it out making sure you don’t cut any part of the character. Once you have finished cutting it out, now its time to put on the clothing. Put on any kind of clothing material. Once you finished making you charater look awesome its time to make up a date for you character’s birthday. And then his/her job, kind of vechicle, what he/she enjoys and what they dislike. Ok its time to tell you where my character just went to! Well he just went to Disneyland, while he was there he learnt that Disney’s grand opening was on Sunday July 15, 1955 at 2:00 o’clock!
What did I tell you, this week was AWESOME! 🙂
Wow! This week was AMAZING!!! 🙂 We did art it was called Scrffito! In Scruffito you draw a picture lightly in pencil then you get oil pastels and colour it in heavily with the oil pastels and colour every thing in different colours it is O.K .if you have the same colour in one or two places though. When you are done that you take acrilic paint and cover your picture evenly with it. Once it is dry you take a Tooth Pick or a paper clip that is opened and then scratch designs in with it and then you are done. We have not gotten to the scratch stage yet though.
We have also done Characters. Yesterday our Characters went to Disney Land. I was the first one to finish writing and to glue in my map that means my book will be marked last and handed back to me last. We searched on the computer for things about Disney Land. And I found out that Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are married not just friends also the man who created Disney Land was named Walt Disney.
