What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

This week we did art, we used oil pastels. We went outside and took rubbings from the trees and the pavement. We ripped the paper. I am thankful for the food we eat.
This week was a wonderful week. Ms Newton laugh us how to do a water painting house for the characters book. First she taught us how to draw a 3D block and we started drawing the house. First we drew with pencil and then we used a sharpie to trace the pencil line. Then we erased the pencil line and we coloured in with water colour pencil. Ms Newton also taught us about the brain, when we eat blueberries it is good for our brain. Also, exercise is good for our brain. I’m thankful for my home, my family, my life, the food and water and the world.
Gym went well for me at school this week because it was fun. Guitar went well for me this week because it was fun and music is good for your brain. Yesterday we studied about the brain and I enjoyed learning about it. There was a lot of cool facts I didn’t know about before. I learned that adults lose up to 200 thousands cells each day! I am thankful for parents. I am thankful for my food and my home. I am also thankful for nature around me.
In school we got to use watercolour pencil crayons. We also used oil pastels and acrylic paint. We got to learn a new song for the guitar. Yesterday we got to play khoot.
