What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week was a great week because I got to learn guitar. Next week, I hope I can learn more guitar. Last Sunday was Kyle’s birthday. When I asked him did he have a happy birthday, he said no for fun. Actually he had a really good time. I am thankful for my teacher because she helps me when I am stuck on my math questions. She always helps me figure out the best solution.
This week was good. Last week on Sunday Oct. 4,2015, it was my birthday and everybody sang me happy birthday and we had computers and we did typing.com. Then we had guitar and that was fun. Then we had gym and did some running. My friend and I got to run ahead because we got timed.
This week was great! Yesterday we drew all our characters with houses for them to live in! We also went outside with some oil pastels and some paper. What we did was we put the paper on the tree and rubbed our pastels on the paper. This made a tree bark effect. It was cool and really fun. I am thankful for going to school. School is a very important responsibility. School is important for our future. I am also thankful for my parents because they take care of me and give me a home.
This week was great! We did art, math, science, social studies and guitar. Last week we did the Terry Fox Run we raised $216.16. I am thankful for my family, school, God and Jesus because everyone in the world works really hard and farmers because they grow us food to eat.
This week was really good.We got to do art and the art we used oil pastels making trees and grass and we painted a light and dark blue sky with some pink in it. Then we made tree trunks.
We also got to do characters and we got a piece of paper and we drew a house and yard. I put a pool in mine and a dog. Then we outlined it but we are going to colour it soon. We also got to learn about our brains and today we got a song about brains. We also got to play guitar.
My favourite thing we this week is art because we did a picture of us painting our background for the picture. Then we went outside. We got a big piece of paper, found a tree and put the paper on the tree and the texture came on the paper using oil pastels. The next day we coloured a green sheet of paper. It was so much fun. I am thankful that we got to use so many mediums for our art because we all used oil pastels and paint.
