What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
It was an extraordinary week! Today we had a spelling test I got 10/10+. We also had a math test and I got 1 wrong, so not that bad. Yesterday we had a track practice we did long distance and sprints it was fun. We are going to Stanley Park it was named after Lord Stanley. It has been a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious week!
This week was amazing! We made a little slideshow on Thursday (it’s about STANLEY PARK!) don’t tell people about this but 8 PEOPLE HAVEN’T BEEN TO STANLEY PARK! We have been doing track practice, all the grade 3 boys had to do sprints( all the grade 3 boys’ legs are hurting after running a lot) it feels like 100 meters. I ROCK IN LONG JUMP AND SOFTBALL! Dear Sophia Y ( also known as Candy858) please don’t get jealous but we just PLAYED kick the can (you see we’re having fun too) Leo dominated in kick the can as it.
This week has been tremendously fun because when it was Monday my school started track and field practice. My first stations were long distance and then high jump. Wednesday was also fun because it was track and field practice again. My stations were long jump and then sprints, I was really tired after that. Today was fun because just before recess we saw a slide show Ms. Newton put together with my class’s Stanley Park collages. After we finished watching the slide show we went outside and ran two laps around the track. After we finished running around the tack we played kick the can. Tuesday was super duper fun because when it was gym we played skittles when we were playing skittles I was almost in for the whole game but someone got me out. Tuesday was also fun because we did art and in art we were trying to get our construction paper flowers to fit in the vases we made for our mothers for Mothers day!
Hey guys! It’s me, Sophia Y. 😉 I haven’t been on for a while, been too busy. But here I am now! I almost forgot my username O__O” So…… has Ms.Newton gave you the teacher look lately? XD I read through some of your “week updates”, looks like you learned a lot about chocolate! 😀 Not alot of people did smiles anymore, or did those such LOOOOONG paragraphs like how me, Kayla, Sophia I, and Maddy did. But I still enjoyed reading your lovely paragraphs. How’s it been with characters? Did Ms. Newton make changes? 😀 I hope Ms. Newton noticed I wrote to you guys……. Wellllllll, my week was pretty busy. We have this W.I.Y. (Who Interests You) project going on. By the way, I really liked your assembly, looks like you guys learned alot about the Railroad Tracks and the BRAIIIN. I learned a little bit before summer break…. I remember cerebelum, the hippocampus, and there was one more….. (Don’t know if I spelled the other two right) -_-” Have you guys been playing Kick the Can lots? Ms. Newton’s class was really fun. ^-^ Oh ya, today in our classroom, and Aaron found this huge spider and when we told Ms. Thomas, she started freaking out. Reed went to step on it, but he lost it. D: So excited for our assembly! We got so many surprises…. Lalalalalala….. So, this is getting pretty LONG, so I guess I’ll end it here.

It has been an great week. Today we had an assembly I got a Certificate. So did Macenna, Krishin and Navjot got one too. We learned about chocolate did you know chocolate comes from cacao beans.

This week has been awesome because on Tuesday my class and I did art. We glazed our Mothers day flower pots it was fun. To day was division 6’s assembly and i got a certificate. I was really happy. Division 6 and 7 sang two of Michael Mitchell’s songs and the songs were something to sing about and Black Flies. Today is pizza day I get 3 pieces of pizza.
