What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This has been a awesome week. Yesterday we had characters we learned about the history chocolate. We told our characters all about it the Aztec Indians of Mexico made a chocolate drink oh and I told him what it is made out of it is made from cocao beans and there are some rules is the one how to get two pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car.The solution eat it in the parking lot.There is a guy from Spain his name is Cortes he was trying to go somewhere but I forgot but instead he landed in Mexico.He bought back cocao beans with him back to Spain.Today we had a assembly div six hosted it they sang inner ninja.We made clay pots for mothers day first we painted them then mrs.Newton put them in the kiln then we glazed them.
This week has been amazing! I had so much fun!!
On Monday we did NOTHING! Because it was Easter Monday!
On Tuesday I wasn’t here because I was sick. 🙁
On Wednesday I was here! I had to paint my mothers’ day project because I wasn’t here Tuesday!
On Thursday we did characters! It was about chocolate! Did you know that the Aztec Indians discovered chocolate, and it only used to be a drink! Then a Spanish explorer named Cortes came to came and bring chocolate back to Spain. Before long the rest of Europe loved chocolate! Chocolate is made from cacao beans! first they’re cut from the trees. Then they are fermented they they are dried. Then roasted and the shells are removed then the middle is ground up into cocoa butter and liquid chocolate. Then milk sugar and extra cocoa butter is added then cooled.
Today we had an assembly and div five was leading it. They sang a few songs like Little Black Flies and Something To Sing About!

This week was very awesome because we learned about chocolate, we also got some chocolate it was so good. We also found out chocolate was created by a man named Cortes. The Mexicans had cacao beans so the spanish people took some cacao beans back to spain and then noticed that it could be a drink after they made it to chocolate. This was a great week!

This week has been outstanding. Last week we did our Canadathon test I got 25 out of 25 There is a mystery prize I really want to know what’s in the box so badly. We made a mother’s day present it’s a clay vase we also made little flowers to go inside. On Wednesday Ms.Matter was a sub for our class we got to go outside and have free time. I went on the swings and the monkey bars and the slides too. My favourite thing this week was our characters, we learned all about chocolate. Ms.Newton really likes chocolate! We learned that an explorer named Cortez went to Mexico and brought cacao beans back to Spain. Did you know that chocolate was a drink before they added milk and sugar and now they use chocolate as a treat all around the world.Today is pizza day I ordered a cheese pizza with a chocolate milk and a bag of sun chips. Jasleen S. and I are going to wash the dishes today. Today we had an assembly div 6 was the hosts. There were two slide shows they were both really good. Yesterday we had library we got centers I was in the listening center most of the time. Jasleen.S , Jasleen.R , Jennifer and I started a comic called the mystery trail. Ms. Matter read us a story called winne-the pooh and the windy day.

This has been a fantastic week! We did our characters and it was about CHOCOLATE!!! We also had a list about chocolate rules and my favourite rule was Diet tip: Eat a chocolate bar before every meal. It will take the edge off your appetite and you will eat less and while we read the list we ate chocolate eggs. They were fantastic. We also made flower pots then glazed them for mothers day. It was a bit of a mess and also fun!
This was a extraordinary week! We had a spelling test and I hope I got a10+ ?. Yesterday we wrote about chocolate in our characters and we learned about the history of chocolate and the steps. Did you know that chocolate is made out of cacao beans? bean = vegetable . These are the steps of chocolate. First step is to cut the pod out then they scoop the beans out. After that they clean the beans after they are cleaned they are sent to the factory. After that they are ground and milk and sugar is added. Today we had an assembly and division 6 sang a song called Inner Ninja.
