What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

It has been a outstanding week. We are making a vase for Mothers’ day.Where make it out of clay. At first the clay was to dry so Ms Newton put it in water. Then we brought it to our desk. It was really messy.
This was a great week! Today an old teacher called Ms. Forbes who retied a few months ago came to visit. Today we had a spelling test and I got a 9+ which is not bad. Today we had guitar and we sang a song called I’m Leaving On a Jet Plane and the song I wanted to sing was Country Road.
It’s has been a great week!
We had clay and it was a little hard so Ms. Newton put the clay in water to make it soft and we made a little pottery for Mothers Day!
It was fantastic.
We also had a spelling tests and I on most got them all right the bonus word was miraculous.
It has been an AWESOME WEEK! We had a spelling test today and I got all of them right, the hardest word was miraculous. On Tuesday we got to make something special for our mothers, you know why because soon it’s MOTHER’S DAY! We used clay but it was hard clay, so Ms.Newton put the clay in warm water. Also today we marked our pre Canadathon test sheets and all of the people at my
table got all the questions right ( right was one of our spelling words) I was so impressed that they got 25 out of 25. Oh
I almost forgot wen we were making our clay pots we got to use an xacto knife. When were done the
clay looked BEAUTIFUL!
Today we had guitars and my favourite song is Old Blue, and remember ALWAYS SING YOUR HEARTS OUT!
This week has been a tremendously fun week because when it was Tuesday my class had art. Before we started Ms.Newton had to put the clay in a bucket of water to make it soft after Ms.Newton gave us the clay we started pulling bits off and so we squish all the water inside it. After we finished pulling the bits off we got a rolling pin and two pieces of wood so we could make the clay very thin once we were done making the clay thin we got a piece of paper that had a half circle we had to cut out. Once we finished cutting the half circle out we put it on the clay so we could cut out two half circles with an xacto knife . Once we finished cutting we got Ms.Newton to put a little hole in so we could hang up the flower vase we were making after we got the hole put in we grabbed a smelly marker and pushed the back of it into our clay so we could make a design. Today Ms.Newton asked everyone in my class to choose our favourite song and she would choose someone to tell us their favourite song and we played it my favourite song is Day-o.
This week has been outstanding! We did our practice Canadathon test I got 25 out of 25 and on my spelling test I got 9, I got treasure and miraculous wrong . On Tuesday we made our Mothers’ Day present. Ms. Newton had to soak the clay in water. Today Mrs. Forbes came to visit us I was so happy!
