What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This has been a great week. Today we had our spelling test I got 9+ and our Canadathon we didn’t write it we marked it. We made a clay project for Mother’s day we used xacto knives then we will fire it and put flowers in it. Today we had guitar my favourite song was Froggie Went a Courtin’.
This week has been a good week and we did a lot of fun things like we made little flower holders for our moms out of clay. We also did guitar and my favourite song is called Yellow Submarine.
It has been an awesome week. On Tuesday we did clay for Mothers’ Day. Ms. Newton had to put the clay in water because it was too dry. Then we took little pieces off and kneaded it to make it soft. We made a little vase that we will make flowers for that my mom taught Ms. Newton. On Tuesday we had gym and we played California kickball.
It has been a great week. On Thursday we did Characters. We wrote about Inuits and seals, the Inuits used to hunt seals to survive. They use seal skins to make tents. On Tuesday we made clay pots for Mothers’ day. When the clay was dry, then Ms. Newton put the clay in a bucket full of water. Today we played Guitar and Ms. Newton told us to pick our favourite songs, I picked Day-o.
I had an awesome week. On Tuesday we did clay and made a flower vase for our moms and we also played California kickball and I was catcher. On Thursday we did characters and we learned about First Nations and how they survived and they survived by killing seals. They really respected the animals they killed. I had an awesome week.
It was a miraculous week! Guess what ( miraculous) is our bonus word. On Tuesday we made a vase out of clay for Mothers’ Day. Today we had a spelling test and I got everything right that was also our spelling word . We also had guitars and one of my favorite songs is Leaving on a Jet Plane! It was an extraordinary week!
