What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Hi, I`m back. It`s me Sophia. Yes without a Y. Because Sophia I. is gone to Bowen Island but she said that every Friday she will leave a comment!
On Tuesday we started these sunflowers inspired Vincent Van Gogh. First, we used waxed crayons, then the next day we finished the coloring we used this BIG sponge and made the paper really wet even the back!!! Then we used blue paint and painted over it.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we did gym. We did Hockey with Ms. Newton and zombie tag (aka, zermbert tag), warball and soccer!!!
Also we continued the book Different Dragons! We talked about the characters in this book and the next time we are doing novel, we are talking about how this boy called Ben being welcomed by his aunt, Aunt Rose. – Sophia (Y).
On Friday it was pizza day and I usually have to do the dishes when I get back to class. This week, four kids were busy cleaning and drying the dishes when I came back from lunch WITHOUT being asked??!!!
And, Sophia is off on an adventurous new life to Bowen Island! We will miss you Sophia but we are happy to know that you are in a really great place!
It was an awesome week. We had gym with Mr Naso we played hockey we won. we also made kites it was so much fun making kites. We huge up our kites in our classroom we get pizza today for lunch. We will miss Sophia!
This week has been a cool week! On spring break I won a colouring contest on Sunday. I got a whole day of rides at the fair. I also went to my uncle’s house he has lots of toys. On Monday it was April fools day.
On Thursday we learned about the rules of chocolate if you can’t eat all your chocolate,it will keep in the freezer. But if you can’t eat all the chocolate, what’s wrong with you?!!
Hello it is me Darren S this week was very fun.
On Monday we had a big warm welcome.I missed Ms. Newton alllll spring Break! so it was nice to see Ms. Newton again. 🙂
On Thursday we had fun game in the Gym with Mr. Naso. The hockey game we played was 6-2 my team. We had lots of fun. Also we learned lots about chocolate when a person named Cortes came to Mexico and learned about chocolate and cacao beans. He brought some back to Spain in A BOAT.
Today is Friday and so far I have been having a good day. It is also pizza day 😀 so I’m going to go now. Bye bye
It has been a great week. It is pizza day today and Sophia is moving today so it is a busy day. We will miss Sophia because she is a good team leader. I wish her a happy trip to Bowen Island.
We also learned about chocolate in Characters.
