What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week we made a kite with flowers and a butterfly and way more. During spring break I went to North Vancouver with Arcana and her two brothers we ate McDonalds and I ate a cheese burger and Arcana ate a wrap then we got a bracelet each. They both had our names on them, they are so cool. We also went into a little play arena at the market, the play arena was so so cool. Arcana and I were throwing balls at her brothers.
We did characters and we studied chocolate. Chocolate covered raisins , cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruits.

I had a great spring break and a great first week.We all made kites. We had a math test .
We played in gym and it was fun we learned about cacao beans witch grow on trees we also learned that chocolate was only something you drank and that the aztec indians
made the drink and cortez went to mexico and brought the cacao beans back to spain I had a great easter egg hunt this week has been great
This week has been great! It was our spring break and we had Easter Sunday and the Easter bunny came and left three chocolate bunnies and the bunnies laid a bunch of chocolate eggs.
On Monday it was also a holiday and Easter Monday. I went to Hothorn park in Ladner with two friends named Saida and Bree. It was a lot of fun!
On Tuesday it was our first day back school and I was very nervous but I had a great day back at school! We had gym and we played a volleyball game. It was fun! We also made flower kites. Mine was awesome the teacher said. It was for spring time! We had lots making it!
On Wednesday we finished our kites. It was gym day. We did basketball. We practised our skills and played a game. After school I went to Maddy’s house for a play date. We had lots of fun!
On Thursday we had Characters. We wrote about that the Easter bunny came to our Character’s house. Our Character told the Easter bunny about the history of… CHOCOLATE AND EVEN THE CHOCOLATE RULES!!!!!!! The Aztec Indians were the ones to discover cocoa beans first. Then Cortes traveled to Mexico and the Aztec Indians let him take some cocoa beans bake to Spain. Now everyone knows about… CHOCOLATE! We had gym with Mr. Naso. We played hockey! My team won 5-3. We had lots of fun!
TODAY IS PIZZA DAY!!!!! I can’t wait to eat pizza!

Wow it has been an awesome week. On Thursday we did characters about Easter. First we made a web and then Ms. Newton give us the rough draft and then we learned about how aztec indians made cacao beans a drink chocolate was made.chocolate was made by cacao beans which grow on trees. Before that we had gym with Mr. Naso he said for our warm up game were going to play octopus. after we played we played hockey we faced Navjot’s team we were winning 1-0 then Navjot scored to tie the game. after the shift the score was 5-1 I scored 3 goals then after I did the faceoff and won it and I scored and we won 6-1.
This week has been so FANTASTIC. I was so happy when I came back to school on Tuesday because I wanted to see my friends again. And also because my teacher Ms.Newton. She is the best teacher I ever had
Spring break was so fun! I stayed at my Tita Kim’s house the whole spring break. It was really fun. While I was there we went to the park and walked Charlie. Charlie is my dog he is so cute.
This Monday it was April fools day so I did a prank on my Tita it was really funny. Also on Sunday I went to the Lansdown fair I went on so many rides.
At school we did characters on Thursday it was about meeting the Easter bunny but the title was I Love Chocolate. We studied about chocolate too! my teacher Ms.Newton gave us booklets about how chocolate is made. Did you know that people from Mexico discovered about cocoa beans. Then this guy named Cortes came from Spain and went to Mexico in a boat. The Mexican people gave him cocoa beans and Cortes went back to Spain with cocoa beans.

It has been a great week. Yesterday we did characters about the Easter bunny. We made a web about chocolate and how to make chocolate. Aztec Indians discovered cocao beans and Cortes came from Spain and took the cocao beans back to Spain. We also had gym with Mr. Naso. We got to play a warm up game octupus and then we played hockey and we won 6-0.
But Sophia I. is moving to Bowen Island so we made a letter heart to her but she didn’t know, and today is pizza day.
