What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week was really fun. We are reading a new novel, it is called Mouse and the Motorcycle.
This week has been good!!! 😀 . In Characters we had to write it all by ourselves it was hard at first but then it was easy. Ms. Newton printed out the Canucks flag and we colored it with felt it was fun.We used blue, dark blue and grey.
Hi, this is Sophia from Kingswood. I am going to make my post a bit shorter because all the gr.4s have to go to F.S.A tests.
This week one of the many things we did was Characters. In Characters we wrote about the Hockey game. We also got a roster with all the information of the hockey players! Ryan Kesler is not on there !? I know hes injured…… but hes still on the team right???
In computers we found some super cute pics of baby mice! One was a baby mouse on a swing!!! another was a baby mouse holding a tiny teddie bear and another was a baby mouse in a hand! 😀 They were the most adorable pictures of mice!!!!
When we did gym we played Lacrosse. First we practised throwing it against the wall. Then with partners. Then we had a Lacrosse game! Sophia Y scored a goal and I stopped a goal! It felt good! 😀
We started a new novel called “The Mouse And The Motorcycle” so far it’s a really good book, and I think its getting better!

We also looked up mouse images my favourite picture was a little white mouse on a tiny swing! We also started a book called The Mouse And The Motorcycle I’ve read it but its a great book! 🙂
Hi it is Darren 🙂 this my first week back at school :D. Maddy brought her hamster in her name is Tiny :). This weekend I am busy I have 3 hockey games Ms. Newton might come to some of my hockey games 😀
In Characters we are doing Dream plan do in 2013 come true, it is so much fun. I enjoyed the writing I did. 😛
This it my first week at school I’ve been having so much fun! This term we are learning about mice I have a hamster so I brought her in. Her name is Tiny but she’s not so tiny any more! I am truly so exited to start telling you about my week and my winter break. We did sgraffito with flowing lines not necessarily a picture of any thing…. 😛 . We used oil pastels I used mostly vibrant colours today we are going to paint over them and I think on Monday we will scratch designs in the paint. It will be so much fun. Now in characters we wrote about what our characters want to do this year the title was Dream, Plan, Do, In 2013 it can come true. My favourite thing we did in characters was a collage it was so much fun. Now back to mice we are learning about mice this term. We did a title page I traced one but added my own details I drew one right off the top of my head and I copied one. We also learned some facts such as…. Mice can be grey, brown, white, or black in colour. Or that the word mouse means “theif”. Also on my winter break I got a Wii and a 3DS. I was so sad when it didn’t snow the WHOLE winter break 🙁 . But I still had a cool winter break. Any ways today in guitar we got some new songs we sand some songs by The Beatles. surprisingly I am just starting to really like guitar because I used to not really like it. I’m really exited for the week-end because I might get to go tubing!! I had a wonderful start to the New year. 🙂 😀
