What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
I had an awesome week! Oh no I used the A word i hope my teacher doesn’t see this or she will give me the teacher look. It is very scary. sometimes I hide under my desk. It is so scary. We made our Mother ‘s Day cards, I loved the new calligraphy pens that Ms. N got for for us. She is the best!
This week we looked for information on Mother’s Day. An interesting fact is that Anna Jarvis started Mother’s Day but I have no idea why.
In gym we played a game of hockey with Mr. Naso and I got one goal.
Today we are going to have pizza for pizza day but I am sad because I did not order any pizza 🙁 Pat came for a visit because now he lives in Mapelridge. Yesterday was Roman’s b-day and he did not come because he had a burn.
Hi this is me Anju. I had a spectacular week. I will like to tell you what happened this week. First I will tell you about what we searched in the computer. We saw a lot of facts about Mother’s Day. We even searched and learned about the difference between Mother’s Day, Mother’s Day and Mothers’ Day. After we finished writing facts down in to our note books we shared our facts. It was fun sharing facts with everybody in my class.
We even made the presents for Mother’s day. It is…..A EAGLE REFLECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Something awesome about it is that we signed it! So I will tell you how we made the eagle reflection. First we put paint on the cardboard that we made last time. Then we used a brayer with blue paint. It was gooey but I still liked it. We put the paint on glass. After that we rolled the paint on top of the cardboard. That was fun for me because I LOVE art!!!
Then after that we made our mother’s day card. We used black paper,pink paper and red paper. We folded the the pink piece of paper in to half and cut out the word mom in black and glued it on. Then we cut out two hearts and glued it on the front page. Then we wrote about how we like our moms, we wrote about how we would help her and we also wrote facts. I guess my mom would be happy.
Oh, Today is pizza day!! Sophia forgot about it so she brought her lunch. A whole lunch. Well, I just hope my mom will be happy!!!!
Hi this is Sophia from Kingswood School. I had a SPECTACULAR week!!!! :D. We spent most of the time making our Mother’s Day present. For our Mother’s Day gift we made prints and we made a print of an eagle’s reflection. We call it ‘Eagle’s Reflection’. On the back there’s a piece of paper that says Happy Mother’s Day 2012 Love, Sophia. We also made a card. On it says the same thing only without the 2012. We wrote it in CALLIGRAPHY!!!! we got new pens!
Today is also pizza day I’m very excited only I forgot so I packed a big lunch. Well I still get pizza!!!
In gym we played hockey. I think I did very well because Mr. Naso commented how good I was. I think I was good because of my new shoes 😛 On the end I think my team won but I’m not sure I didn’t count the scores that well. I think it was 3 something.

OMG! I`m in Kazakhstan! I`m on vacation! It`s so fun here. I came here to visit my grandparents. I miss everyone back at school. I can`t wait to come back but at the same time I`ll want to stay here because if I leave I`ll miss my grandparents. Well actually It`s ok. I can talk to my Grandparents on skype.
