What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

This morning we had to leave early because my sister had a drivers’ test. She had a feeling that she was going to fail, but she passed! We didn’t have time for breakfast, so my mom took us out to Tim Horton’s. Hot chocolate, Boston Cream and breakfast sandwich. Those were good! While we were eating my sister came in and said, “I passed!” We were really proud of her.
At Wildwood we are learning about Ancient Rome. The other kids that we do art with, play games with, do crafts with, figure out stuff, make jokes, they are good kids. Terry is a good teacher! Wildwood is great. My favourite course is Wildwoodville. Last time I went there I ran the movie theatre. It was fun.
Hi guys! I miss you sooooo much!!!! I might be moving again! But not to Richmond…..my mom said that it’s either Abottsford or another house in Chilliwack. If it’s Abottsford I would have to switch schools (again)! I don’t wanna leave my friends (again!)!! Anyways, yesterday I went to a baby shower. It was at an old house (nobody lives there). There used to be a family living there in 1892. They died in that house because of a house fire. I saw pictures of the family. One of the pictures was of the house on fire! That place gave me the creeps. My cousin said she can see ghosts and she has a ghost friend named Suzie. She said she’s 5 years old and she died in a fire. I can kind of see shadows of ghosts! It’s kinda cool! The house has lots of ghosts in it! Me and my cousin actually saw them! (well I saw shadows) It was so freaky/awesome!!!!!!!!!! Well I got to go! Miss you guys! Bye~abbey

Hello! I had a S-P-E-T-A-C-U-L-A-R week 🙂 This week we had Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday off because of the teacher strike. We also got to start Geronimo Stilton (because we already finished Frindle),We also did gym with Mr.Naso and we did characters with Ms.Newton.
There has been a thing going around called a teacher strike (or you could call it a job action). The teacher strike is where the government is cutting back on things. The government is mostly cutting back on things like special needs teachers and the amount of money teachers are getting paid. It’s really unfair to kids and teachers because all the teachers are trying to do is to support kids. And it’s pretty much an invasion because all the prices on things are going up especially gas. WE SUPPORT OUR TEACHERS!
This week we started Geronimo Stilton because we finished Frindle. The book that I picked out for Geronimo Stilton was The Mummy With No Name.
I even got to do Geronimo Stilton last year in Ms.Newton’s class.
Yesterday (Thursday) I brought in something to share with the whole class. I brought in all these different types of kawaii drawings that I drew. I drew kawaii milkshake/icecream things, kawaii onigri, kawaii noodles and kawaii sushi. Oops! I forgot to tell what kawaii means. Kawaii is a japanese style of drawing and it’s really cute because there’s these little cute eyes and and Sorry I guess I’m getting carried away. Anyway I even drew different types of milkshake/icecream things. The first one was chocolate flavoured with a small chocolate bar inside of it and there were these swirly wafer sticks it looked so good. (Sorry if I am making you hungry) I drew other types of milkshake/icecream things like a cherry flavoured one with two wafer sticks and a shiny cherry in it, I also drew lemon me`renge one, a strawberry one and a blueberry one. ( Each of them all had two wafer sticks in them) I love drawing!
Yay!!! We got to do characters yesterday. Our topic was characters. Our topic was characters because we got to look back at all our entries and select three of our favourite ones. Once we had selected all three of our favourite entries we got to put a little bookmark thing on them. Then we got to write about all over favourite entries. After we wrote about our entries we shared it with one of our classmates. I have lots of fun doing characters. (Oh No I am not allowed to tell anyone that I am having fun at school I might get the teacher look He He! 😛

I had a boring week because I had nothing to do at home :(. Yesterday we did characters and I was reading what we like in characters. I like reading in characters.
We started Geronimo Stilton yesterday and we are still doing the title.
I was happy on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Now I feel happy at school.
