What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week was F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!! we did so much fun stuff like characters and in characters we did my achievement we made a trophy my characters trophy was for best cheer leading and we made a trophy out of construction paper the paper was yellow. We also did gym. In gym we did soccer and ran a lap. Today is early dismissal. We get off at 11:10 today right now it is 9:15. This week we also did art. We made beavers. We drew them and then colored them with chalk pastels. I got my hands really dirty. We also did math expect i don’t like math that much because I am not so good at it. In math we had two groups group 1 and group 2. Group one had a few gr.4s and a lot of gr. 3s and in group two there were only grade fours and no grade threes. A couple weeks ago and two days ago we did yoga! We did yoga for thirty minutes. I thought that was pretty long but at the end we got to lie down for a couple minutes and then it was finally over. In characters we also did my car my car is red and has a white trunk it has a code to go into the car and has a radio. My background has mountains and people and a sun and two clouds. We also did computers and went on the kingswood website and went in the world book for kids and looked up beavers. Beavers are the second largest rodent in north America. When beavers here danger like bears and coyotes they slap their tall on the water and worn the other beavers that danger is coming. There babies are called kits. Otters pray on kits. Large fish also like to pray on kits. A female beaver can have two to four beavers at a time! When kits are two years old they leave their family and mate. I know a little TOO much about beavers!! Beavers use their sharp teeth too cut down trees and then the tree cracks and wobbles and then the beaver slaps its tall and hurrys to the water. Often a beaver is killed by a falling tree. A long time ago beavers were hunted for their fur too make hats and coats. beavers used to be as tall as a black bear standing! but now they are smaller. I probably said too much so I’m going to go now so BYE! Emma : )

Wow! This was an amazing week! We did yoga and soccer in gym this time. It made me relax when I did yoga. And in soccer I tried to get in to the game but other people were to fast to get in to. I got the ball once but it rolled over to the person in the other team. We did characters too. We made a tracer and the shape was of course a trophy. We used our own tracers to trace a trophy on yellow paper. I don’t want a white trophy! Oh, and we did beaver drawings. When we were done our drawings we got to colour our own beavers with chalk pastel. Isn’t that so awesome!? On Thursday around the end of school we got to do centers! We did lego, marble works and other. First I didn’t feel like playing with lego but when I started I just couldn’t stop.We did computers and we went on a Kingswood web site. We went on the world book to look for beavers. We wrote five facts in our reading log note book about beavers. Finally in math there is two groups. Group one and group two. I am in group one. There is two groups in spelling too. The words in group one is so easy but the words in group two is some times hard. But mostly easy. Well, kind of easy. I loved this week very much. It was very busy, amazing, fabulous, excellent and mostly…. SPECTACULAR! I’m lucky that I am in Mrs. Newton’s class because we get to do fun stuff every day every week! Oh. and oh we are going on two field trips next time. But of course the field trips are not on the same day. I can’t wait to go!!! I just loved this week. I don’t want all this fun to melt away!
I think Education is very important for life. It’s also important to have a positive mindset to enjoy learning. The early years of our kids will determine what he or she would become eventually. Keep having fun learning!
Hi this week has been an awesome week first tomorrow is my birthday. I am turning nine years old. I am going to get new shoes and I am going to get new skates too. The Reebok xt comp pump skates they are awesome. On Monday we had gym with Mr. Naso it was sort of fun. I am on my 4th book of the Kingswood chioce awards there is only five, my goal is to read all five. On Tuesday we had computers Mr. Naso said to Google whatever we want. Zeyn and I worked together and we searched the strongest man in the world, it was awesome. Then on Wednesday we had library and I dd not take out a book. I still have my books at home I will be sure to bring it back. bye.
Wow it is already January 20! I had so much
fun this week because I got all my spelling words right and right is one of my spelling words! I’m in group two in math.
I had the most amazing week. We got to have centers and we played Pokemon. I got to learn how to make a trophy. It was fun.
This week was great. I am doing my post at home because im not at school today. On Thursday we got to do Characters. The title of the characters was My Achievement. I wrote less than a page so I erased almost everything and wrote more. I did not get to finish at the time we do characters but I finised at silent reading. We also played soccer. Soccer is my favourite sport. We got one goal in the first time we played. The next goal the other team scored. Then we got to vs another team. We lost to that team, the score was 1/0. We had five players 3 boys 2 girls but the the boys did not pass to the grls so they did not even care about the game. In my team one person got hurt in the leg that was Patricio it looked bad but Patricio only looked a bit hurt. The other person who got hurt was Ethan. he was the goalie he saved a goal with his leg so that hurt him alot.
