What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

I had an awesome week. I played soccer and I played guitar and I went to the Vancouver Art Gallery. I went out on Halloween and I had fun.
This week was AWESOME. Hallowe’en came on Monday. My brother and I built a candy land. Also, our class had a field trip to the Vancouver Art Gallery. We got to look at the first painting, it had a gold frame. We got to paint a portrait. Lastly we got to play soccer with random teams. Then we had two teams vs two teams it was like one big team vs another. We could not do guitar on Tuesday because of the field trip. So we had an AWESOME week.
It has been an awesome week. First in the begining of the week it was Halloween I dressed up as Dr. Frankenstein. I flung red paint on my lab coat with my sister. My mom also helped me with my name tag. Everybody laughed at my costume. We also played soccer with Mr. Naso. Ms.N’s daughter also came back from Morocco and she came to talk to us. She helped kids with cleft lips.
Hi it’s Emma. I am here to write and tell you what we did this week! Let’s start with Monday, it was Hallowe’en and it was a busy day! On Tuesday we went to the art gallery.
We got to go and draw a face of someone and then paint it and lie it on a piece of paper and then you peel it off and its looks really cool: ) because it smears and a picture of a person is still there. On Wednesday I felt pretty bad because everyone had candy but me, I accidently left mine at home : ( .
Thursday was triple spectacular, we met a girl named Dana. She went to to work in Morocco to help kids with cleft lips and palates. She is Ms.Newton’s daughter and she is very very nice!:). Ms.Newton recorded us on her camera when Dana was talking and now we are on youtube! yay! If I knew I would have dressed way better than a white shirt and gray pants! see you later!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 :)BYE!
Hi everybody this week has been a fantastic week. Monday was one of the best days of the week, it was HALLOWE’EN! We went trick-or-treating. Oh my gosh I almost forget to tell you that we went to the Vancouver Art Gallery. We also did gym with Mr. Naso, he is a pretty good gym coach. We played soccer with him at the end team 3 and team 1 played together and team 2 and team 4 played.
Guess who came to our class yesterday? It was Dana, she went all the way to Morocco! It took her 26 hours! She had to take 4 flights, first she flew to Chicago then to London, Portugal, then Morocco. She left here at eight o’clock in the morning and she got there at two o’clock the next day! We saw some amazing pictures of the kids that she helped when she was there.
WOW it has been an amazing week. This week we’ve done so many things like Hallowe’en, math, spelling, being active and gym. (Dasha and I skipped gym because we wanted to see Ms. Newton’s daughter first – by the way her name is Dana)
On Monday it was Hallowe’en. We got to wear our costume and we got to watch a funny video. It was about a person delivering a pizza to a little alien (or monster I don’t know which one) and the delivery man got so scared that he dropped the pizza on the steps to the doorway and ran away. When the alien (or monster) opened the door he bent down and his underwear showed it was pretty funny!
