What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
It has been a good week. We played soccer in gym and I almost scored a goal! We played guitar and we sang Polly Wolly Doodle All The Day. We also ran with pedometers and the Canucks lost 5-1!
We also went to the Art Gallery and Dana even came to school to share her experiences in Morocco. She helped some kids to get their smiles back.
Today there was frost. Here comes winter!!
I had a spectacular week. Ms. N’s daughter came and she’s a nurse. She goes to different places in the world to help fix cleft palates and cleft lips. Last time she went to Morocco.
It was also Hallowe’en on Monday. Every year I go to this house and they give my sister and I a big bucket of candy because we know them.
Yesterday we did characters and we discovered where our characters live. My character lives in Brasilia, Brazil in the continent of South America.:)
Wow! It was a fantastic week! We went to the Art Gallery with the whole class. It was fun at the Art Gallery, we were a group. I also had so much fun trick-or-treating. I went with my sister.
My whole class saw Ms.Newton’s daughter, her name is Dana. She went to Morocco to be a nurse to help babies get their smiles back and she came to school to show us pictures. Yesterday my whole class sang Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream. We are singing it for the Remembrance Day assembly.
It has been a good week the Emily Carr painting in the art gallery. But the best was to see Dana. Dana is our teacher’s daughter. She fixed some children’s cleft lips and palates in Morocco. She showed us some amazing pictures.
It has been a great week. On Halloween I was a hockey player. On Tuesday we went to the art gallery it was fun we got to do a portrait. Then Dana came to show us some pictures and talk to us about her experiences when she fixed people’s lips in Morocco. After we went to gym with Mr. Naso and we played soccer.
It has been an fantastic week. We played soccer in gym with Mr. Naso and we ran yesterday. We ate lots of candies and we went on a field trip to the Vancouver Art Gallery. When Dana came to visit it really made me think about how lucky I am and to know that people work hard to make a difference. Today is my birthday!
