When I took my early morning walk this morning I heard some singing wafting through the trees at the top of Mt Tolmie. After Hwasung stopped singing , we chatted. It’s a gift she shares everyday of the year. Here she shares one or two of the reactions she receives.
Running into Noah talking about his favourite course in his university career is inspiring in itself One of their field trips was to OUR Ecovillage which takes the principle of the course ‘to another level.’
He directed me to a distant store but then changed his mind as he turned into the Court of Justice building and called me back. I followed him into the reception office to discover he had already asked the secretary to produce five dollar coins for me. I was so grateful I smiled from ear to ear and so did they.
On my way out and down the path to the street he reappeared at the doorway and called out just to be sure I knew the maximum stay. Canadians are so helpful and friendly – it happens to me regularly and is a delight.
