A secret for a happy life
He said his secret for success, for a happy life, is to “Not sweat the Small Stuff.” He learned this when he was forty years old, 26 years earlier. He had his own business at the time, and he felt he was never away from it. He allowed it to roll through his life.
He now works on projects for friends.
Lucky friends!
PS
This is the second senior person this week that’s shared this tip…
This is the day the Lord hath made. Happy New Day.
She had been working on a card for me, that came with just the right present.
Went for a walk with Jean Luc and Loni on the UVic campus. Our son gave me a brief phone call on our way home. Then it was time to leash up JL and a few minutes later we were home. I couldn’t find my phone, so I phoned it, hoping to hear it ring. A fellow answered. ‘Not a wrong number’.
He said he was walking his dog a few minutes earlier and midst other distractions he spotted my black phone on the concrete pathway at UVic and picked it up.
He was visiting his mom a few blocks from our home. That’s where I found him.
What a gift!
I gave him two “You Made My Day” cards to share with others who make his day.
He loved the spirit we shared.
