A moment of caring and connection
We live in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Lately, with the house across the street undergoing a significant remodel, it has been noisy on and off most days. Lots of materials being dropped off, trucks taking up space on the street, loud voices talking over the noise of demolition . . . all normal for the activity going on, but not always appreciated volume-wise! One afternoon, I went outside to check on the yard, and the workmen were loudly discussing something that sounded like things weren’t going well. I sighed & decided not to listen to what was going on across the street, but still felt badly. Then as I was walking back to the house I heard singing! It was one of the workmen on the roof singing “What the world needs now, is love, sweet love.” ! Well, that brightened my mood, and instead of going back in the house I continued doing some gardening and enjoyed the song/singer and the beautiful day.
I feel so blessed to walk by the Palace of Arts and see such inspiring scenes as this. It is always breathtakingly beautiful.
Park life was full of canine visits, and meaningful chats with friends.
I love the ‘shows’ the Divine provides in the sky. First time I’ve ever captured a clear view of the moon on phone camera.
