A friend and I went swimming at Sooke Potholes. Wow, such a beautiful
place. The water, though breath-catching cool, was so clear and clean. Not many people and lots of trees surrounding us. Perfect afternoon to remember our beautiful earth, be refreshed to go back out and take action against climate change.
The first Cocoon that I found yesterday.
Butterflies are coming🦋
When I was a child, I planned a trip to go to a remote island with my friends in Kindergarten, like “the adventure of TinTin and Milo 🐕”.
I always wanted to live on an island.
I used to live in Vancouver. I didn’t have money to pay my expensive tuition there and had to go back to Iran.
I just said to God, “HELP”.
Then I found the University of Victoria. An angel helped me to get settle here. I didn’t know anything about the climate here, anything about here. It’s a true story. Such a miracle!
God didn’t let me go back to Iran
I arrived here 2 years ago like a mermaid 🧜♀️
Just a nice day. My students are getting good marks on their speech arts exams! I found a pretty dress…(medium expensive)
to wear to the baby’s first birthday….and a sweater on clearance (88% off…how is that even possible at the Bay?)…and I lost
7 pounds and my jeans feel comfortable again!
The other day my husband and I went to White Spot for lunch, it was pretty much at full capacity so it was super busy, which is really good to see for the business as well as for the staff. We had the sweetest server, she was like an energizer bunny zipping here and there, it was fun to watch her zip around! I commented on her energy, she seemed very pleased that I had noticed, and she said she just had to do it to keep up! By the time we were finished lunch she was able to slow down, she was an excellent server who was quick and efficient, it was a very enjoyable lunch! Also it’s so nice to be out in such a happy upbeat atmosphere, I heard an announcer on the radio talking about how he noticed that everybody seems so happy to be out and about!
I Went out for the sunset stroll, walked and walked…almost got lost.
Then I Checked my map to find my direction/ the route to my home.
…found Swan Lake 🦢
Beautiful place, nice breeze
