a sunny morning
waking a sleeping basset with a hug and a cuddle
a surprise birthday lunch/cake

Life is good.
WGWT: Lovely morning walk with my dog. It always makes me smile to see how much joy simply tossing a tennis ball brings her. We humans need to learn to be as joyful for all the small things in our lives.
Today … after basically “living” in the Hong Kong airport for 10 days! (long story … stolen documents ..), a very kind, german woman – PHD in Economics and English Literature … lends me a blanket and some cold medication .. there truly are angels!!
Went to the show “Stomp” at the Imax. What a great talented group. It really brings to thought that all peoples are connected in more ways then one.
Thanks for the suggestion Chris. So glad I went.
Judy & I were recently in Hawaii, on Oahu. We had just visited the Contemporary Museum (actually an art gallery) in the slopes above Honolulu. We always take the bus everywhere and were awaiting the arrival of the bus which run about every 30 – 40 minutes on this rather esoteric route. A woman who had been working at the museum and had apparently noticed us there drove by. Stop backed up and offered to drive us back to Honolulu. She not only did that but drove us to a major bus transfer point so as to facilitate our return to Waikiki. Of course, on the trip of some 10 – 15 minutes we had a most pleasant conversation.
We are such lucky ducks.
A friend’s brother from the southern States sent this in
WGWT! What a great idea. And imagining you getting into a jeep with a skirt and two dogs will give me a few grins every time I think about it. I don’t know the format of WGWT or if Bowers is the originator or the enabler but if it is not on Facebook, if he or he and you , put it on Facebook, you might open a wonderful idea to literally, the world. It is easy to focus on the negative, but all of us do have positive experiences in our lives, and all of need to reflect on “What’s gone well today”. If we write it we remember it.
