Phoned a colleague of mine when I was a teacher in Campbell River. He always was good for a story… which was always refreshing in the days of breaking into the school district. In fact he hired me.
Today he shared his surprising history of collecting antique cars ( back to an 1902 model) The story came out from asking him for his email address. Rambler02…

A can of furniture polish stopped spraying. It still was quite full. It said ‘Johnson ‘ on it so I contacted Johnson and Johnson. They told me I had the wrong company, but gave the right number. I phoned and received wonderful, caring service. They will send me a new can.
I was going for a cautious walk in VicWest when I saw a man approaching me. Before I could get a chance to move to the street for the sake of safe distancing he called out. I’m a lot younger than you let me move. After which he gave me a virtual high five and moved to the street.
