What’s Gone Well Today? ®
Here’s an easy way to recognize others… and in turn change how we look at our day, and our life.
When has someone made your day with the service they’ve given, or something they’ve said or done for you? Sharing these moments may inspire others. They lift the spirit!
On another note asking someone What’s Gone Well Today? ®, becomes life-changing. Conversations have a fresh, inspiring perspective.
In the larger picture our tools help individuals and organizations become more empathetic. We would love to hear from you! Please share an experience that’s gone well in your day.

During part of her Zoom tutoring session Loni reads books to the students. Some of the students draw on the white board during this time. Some are particularly artistic. Here’s one from yesterday.
I phoned someone in Oregon that I hadn’t talked to in a couple of years and hung up when no one picked up. Within an hour he phoned back, not knowing who had called him, and shared some wonderful stories of leaving Oregon quickly to return to BC after hearing the Prime Minister tell Canadians to ‘come home’. He left the next day.
It was a wonderful phone conversation, describing the new world of video conferenced-based studies and work. Geography once again, loses its impact.
Did some deep weeding in our garden… Near the end I realized I didn’t have my pruning shears. After a fair bit of looking I was lead to look in the compost box, and there near the bottom of the new material I’d put in, were the shears. They will never go missing again. I attached a Tile Mate to it. Two days later, the Tile fell off the pruner, but it was easy to locate the Tile, and reattach it.
I decided to express gratitude instead of being frustrated and disappointed., So first of all I was grateful I was at home I could call my family and friends and e-mail them. I could order my groceries. Through Zoom I could listen to 2 Sunday and Wednesday Church services one at Christian Science Church in Toronto and the other in Victoria. In Victoria I have the chance to also see the other church members and about twice a month have a prayer group meeting.

On a walk in our neighbourhood, we came to an intersection. I asked Loni , “Shall we walk this way or that?” She chose ‘that’ and we proceeded up a hill. Along the way we found “Nancy’s community library”, a new addition to the ‘hood. There Loni found some books that she had never owned, in wonderful condition. In the past we’re often had books that we wanted to share in such a ‘library’ and have driven a distance to find one.
