Every connection that I made in conversation today, left me with this amazing sense of what is really important … & saying “hello” … truly, seemed to be the first step ! Lol what a hoot !♡
What’s really important in conclusion is connecting period ! Astoundingly simple. High or low all is important 🙂
Martin and I got together today .. and after a while we recorded this sequel to an amazing moment he had at a grocery store checkout. Where the cashier was totally focused on him and ready to engage.
Here’s where he’s taken that in the few years since we shot that… His radar is always on, but now he sometimes becomes that ‘guru’… and people are so surprised.
UVic bookstore sold out of Hi Conversation Changes Lives and I brought up some more for their shelves. Each sale is celebrated.
I had a relaxed conversation with an individual who was in the line up at the grocery store as I was. We exchanged “care & interest” in each other with the remarkable passing of a few mins. The material I have read in Hi Conversation Changes Lives prompted this ‘new’ awareness of a simple sense of extended love and then by allowing this love to be the connectedness and let it be what it may …. ever so remarkably refreshing. Deeply freeing.
A friend told how he changed a relationship by responding to a tricky situation rather than reacting to it. It’s a life-changing difference.
