What’s Gone Well Today? ®

When my heat pump is working well I really feel happy. My wife asked me to email the company every day. I solved the problem finally.
So you are finally warm again. Phew!!
A moment that stood out today was when a customer offered me a job at another restaurant. I often doubt myself at work so having someone kind compliment me and offer me that, it gave me reassurance that I’m maybe not doing so bad after all.
Winter season in Victoria is really windy. Wind messed up my hair and pushed me around this afternoon when I was downtown.
Wind reminds me of years ago when my friend visited my hometown. After a few days she told me that she noticed the trees in my hometown are made of plastic because they didn’t move. Guess that’s why the trees in my hometown hardly move.

Today was a most inspiring day. I met a beautiful young woman author who has written a biography and in her bravery and creativity she shared with the world her life story which I am sure speaks to others who may now feel inspired to share their story.
Through story we create a woven blanket of compassion and understanding. The more we can appreciate another’s journey the more we come together as humans. The biggest gift we give to humanity is being ourselves …
We spoke about being scribes and opening ourselves to listen to our souls and being brave and vulnerable enough to share ourselves with the world.
A day of humanity for sure.
Love the thoughtful feedback…
