What’s Gone Well Today? ®
Here’s an easy way to recognize others… and in turn change how we look at our day, and our life.
When has someone made your day with the service they’ve given, or something they’ve said or done for you? Sharing these moments may inspire others. They lift the spirit!
On another note asking someone What’s Gone Well Today? ®, becomes life-changing. Conversations have a fresh, inspiring perspective.
In the larger picture our tools help individuals and organizations become more empathetic. We would love to hear from you! Please share an experience that’s gone well in your day.
Taking Jean Luc out when he knew I had snacks for him. He was so much more responsive. Way better feeling of control.
Where could we take this ‘learning?’ How responsive are we? Do we feel the rewards are present?
Love the stories I’m finding that I can use in Hi! The Book Wondrous Power of Conversation. It’s fun to find them, then check with the person in the story about including them. It helps me realize how many stories I have collected.

I always wonder what value will come from each bus ride experience. Tonight it was from the driver. She has had many careers before driving a bus, including running her own business. She has a natural sense of empathy that I observed with the riders. That’s what drew me to talk with her. I asked how she manages the stress. She likes driving nights so she’s physically active in the day… working out.. being outside. While many people come home and veg in front of the TV, she drivers bus. It has a wide screen, dynamic characters and story lines that are always changing. She loves the work
Sometimes new habits take awhile to stick. It’s been a few days since my last post, so here are a few things that have gone well since then:
Christopher helped me redefine my role as a substitute teacher from just teaching the absent teacher’s lesson to offering my specialty lessons as a way to offer a different experience instead of just filling in. Life is too short to waste anyones time.
On Friday, I volunteered at my sons school track and field meet at UVic. It was nice watching the kids compete and have fun, especially my sons who did really well.
This weekend was my oldest sons birthday and while it’s hard to believe he’s already 13, I’m proud of the young man he is turning into.
