What’s Gone Well Today? ®
Here’s an easy way to recognize others… and in turn change how we look at our day, and our life.
When has someone made your day with the service they’ve given, or something they’ve said or done for you? Sharing these moments may inspire others. They lift the spirit!
On another note asking someone What’s Gone Well Today? ®, becomes life-changing. Conversations have a fresh, inspiring perspective.
In the larger picture our tools help individuals and organizations become more empathetic. We would love to hear from you! Please share an experience that’s gone well in your day.

I’ve had an amazing morning and it’s only 9:16am. I asked our teachers a question on facebook to generate a discussion for a blog post I will be writing soon (all about what television shows they watch in London) and three teachers responded within about 5 minutes. I love that! They apparently watch a lot of British tv that I’ve never even heard of, so I’m pretty excited to do the “research” and pass on their two cents to you. I’ve already started my laundry so I can have clean clothes to wear to yoga today. And I had a good laugh with a Canadian teacher in London who mistakenly called me here in Canada at 7:30am when she was actually meaning to call our London office. That made me giggle. I’m listening to an internet radio jazz station that’s making me think that I should start listening to more jazz music.
My internet is back up & working, which means that I can put away the blackberry & respond to all the emails in my inbox, a task that actually makes me happy.
Also, I landed a lead role in a local play!
Yes, the role is a stretch, and a good one. You know how stretching feels so good? I play a male, water rat, with a British accent and I have a lot of lines. It ’ s a British Pantomime. Done with the Peninsula Players. Directed by Dick Mells. It will be lots of good happy fun. Family play. Audience interaction! Designed and written specifically to cheer and uplift people, perfect!
Our reunion was absolutely fantastic
it was an opportunity to heal the past and move on and to ask for help in a safe environment to do just that
I now have some contacts that I can pursue to help me make the next steps in my life.
I had the pleasure of speaking to many clients and people today on the phone and I realized that we always have a chance to make a difference with the people we meet and connect with – no matter how big or small, we have the amazing ability to impact someone’s life… The positive feelings I received from each of these experiences is what went well for me today 😉
What’s gone well today is that I made a trip to the big city of Victoria to run a bunch of errands as I have the honour of
working with an esteemed colleague and mentor in my craft up Island for the next few days. The errands went very smoothly. All the things on my to do and to get list were handled with ease, which is always a wonderful experience. Also, on my way out of town I stopped off at a customer’s house to make a delivery and he commented that the design of the bed that he bought from me was, “timeless”. I earned two WGWT points today in ease and compliments.
What I am looking forward to for the remainder of the week is working with a mentor and expert woodworker on a luxurious home where craftsmanship is the priority, an opportunity to expand my craft.
A friend of my grandaughter who teaches Spanish at West Point Grey High School in Vancouver, asked me some time ago, to give a talk to their Multicultural Society about W.H.E.A.T. I am not keen on public speaking, so asked Heather Ferris if she could do it, but she will be away in Nepal in October. I had to work about this and know that it is a right idea for young people to be aware of others
by expressing their care and consideration. West Point Grey High school interested in having WHEAT as a charitable organisation they could support.
To-day I was working metaphysically, as well as arranging for a Hard Drive with pictures and information about WHEAT to use for the talk, when the message below arrived from the publishers of my book. It was a wonderful lift to my thinking and quite amazing that they are sending my book to a High School in Arkansas and I am preparing to talk to a High School in Vancouver, on the same subject –
i.e. the support through education for women and children in Southern Africa, who suffered as a result of the apartheid system.
That is ” what’s gone well for me to-day ”
Not a coincidence but proof that there is One Mind.
Best wishes
Elaine
