I love this sentiment or purpose in this bus driver’s purpose/ commitment to live in ‘the way’ each day. Although he had never tried to verbalize it before.. he came up with this:
The way… important to bring a smile to people’s faces every day.. to enjoy the day. Make other people stop and centre or focus on that – living in the present and being focused on what’s really important in their life . A smile encompasses all that
Today was a little bit uneventful, still many things went well. As blessed as a mother’s life can be, exhaustion can take our attention away. I had great conversations with my daughter today, and a great argument. It’s gratifying to see her young mind find such peril in her life and such a need to assert herself through a little healthy rebellion. Against all odds at the end of each struggle I can still get my one biggest lesson across to her. That I am not here to fight her battles or battle with her, just care for her, be a supporter and never stop loving her for who she is.

We needed some paint to be matched perfectly to our current walls. I phoned Brian at Castle and he told me where to get a sample colour from my wall. I took it the next day and met Kao, now the manager of the store. The paint matched perfectly.
There’s a wonderful spirit in the store. Very refreshing…
Months ago I started a Facebook page dedicated to buying and selling used items and linking random groups of the community with one another.
I can’t remember what in life distracted me from this but I logged on today to see a few hundred friend requests and have already shared a few links to some good causes in our community and good topics that I thought could be shared among these diverse groups of people.
Matt’s optimistic attitude is coming back bit by bit.
What’s gone well lately:It was my mom’s birthday on Sunday, and she knew I was making her dinner… But she didn’t know I was going to make one if her favourite things: halibut. She requested Mexican food, so I made blackened halibut tacos as one of the dishes, and she loved them.
