What went well for me this week. WELL.
This past week I had the opportunity to appreciate the life-enriching rewards which result from taking small steps. Having a work contract end recently, I was suddenly faced with the imminent need to make some important decisions. I wrote a To-Contact list, contacted each of the people listed, and waited to see what happened. After only 2 days, I found work with 3 individuals, as well as got an offer to move to Edmonton, with a place to stay.
It’s amazing what happens when we initiate those first few steps, and remain optimistic and open to opportunity. Trusting in oneself, trusting in the goodness of others, and trusting one’s own ability to manifest reality has been a huge lesson for me. I would encourage everyone to recognize this power within them.
I had some very good conversations at Green Drinks.
It had been over a year since one fellow had attended. We had a great chat? Others updated their situation and some helpful introductions were made.
The owner of the pub shared some wonderful examples of staff development… helping staff thrive.
