What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

Hold on just a second candyth ( Azeemah) I moved to Montreal Grace just went on vacation for 2 to 4 months! I remember because She wanted to come visit me when she is coming home!
Mr. Bowers, I really like the idea of this blog. It has changed the way I think of things. When I have a bad day and I come to post I don’t think of the bad I think of the good. When I think about the good things in that day I start to think of other good things about yesterday or maybe the good things I could do tomorrow! Than really does help to brighten up my mood weather I am thinking about today tomorrow or yesterday What’s Gone Well Today has changed the way I think.like When I am negative about being in Montreal What’s Gone Well Today forces me o think positive I really enjoy putting effort into this and looking forward to posting at the end of the week. Brain storming with my friends and classmates. Thank you for making this awesome site for kids and adults.
sincerely, alexcarter
Thanks AlexCarter… I hope WGWT continues to be a tool/ approach you use to explore and report on life in our largest city. I also appreciate your role as editor.
7 eleven this place is actually called The Chocolate Bar. Every thing has some thing to do with chocolate. Which is why I went there for Mrs.Newton I am going to the Ben and Jerry’s for chocolate is cream. When I was at the chocolate bar I could not really read the menu it was all in French! Now for leon I am going to type in french with out the Accent on the e’s. I know Leon wanted to use his translator for this so here you go leon: Le Garsone Mange. Un Fee Mange. Un homme. Le feeme mange.
Ok leon translate that and tell me what it means I went to the trouble of learning that so you could translate like you wanted! Also Mrs. Newton I might just send the class some chocolate from the chocolate bar to kingswood so you can eat it! Trust me it is the best I have ever had Even better than Purdy’s and Lindor chocolate if you Don’t believe me I will send some in the mail. I mean I would do it any ways but especialy if you did not believe me.
If you have not noticed this post is all about the chocolate it is dedacated to Mrs. Newton but I have somthing for every body … A chocolate fudge cake recipe! here it is every thing you need to know about cooking your very own:
1-2/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup water
—1/2 cup butter, softened
1-3/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup milk
Preparation:
Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Combine the first set of ingredients with a wire whisk. Set aside. In a microwavable container melt chocolate with water. Microwave 1 minute and check chocolate. If not melted, continue microwaving for 10 seconds at a time. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla and mix. Pour in the chocolate a little at a time and mix. Combine completely. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk until all is used. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake for 27 to 35 minutes until tested with a toothpick and cake has pulled away from the pans. Frost Chocolate Fudge Cake as desired.
Makes two 9-inch chocolate cake layers.
It takes 25 minutes to make the batter and 35 mitutes to bake the actuall cake so it is 60 minutes in all. and no I did not copy paste I just typed it all the same. hope you enjoy the cake and I also hope you got my last post if not look for the really long one. Not to brag but well bye bye for now enjoy the recipe
!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

I’d like your help. This last 9 months you have spent a lot of time looking for WGWT moments in your days. How has that changed your life, affected your school days and friendships? Have you taken it home? What effect on your family have you seen? Please post your ideas. Thanks.
Christopher .. creator of WGWT at School
Mr.Bowers thank you for giving us an opportunity to share our great days with the world. I will tell you what I did this weekend. I went to my Aunty’s Birthday. I had lots of fun there. I had cake, chicken, chips and much more! I got to play with a lot of kids there. I had a great weekend.
Ever since I came to Kingswood in January I have had to get used to leaving comments on whats gone well today. It has made me think more about the good points of every day and then I can look back and see what we did over the past few months and what I enjoyed the most. It is new to my family to, they enjoy reading my comments and my classmates comments as I don’t always tell them what I have been doing. My Mom now asks me and my sister what our favourite bits of days out and family trips were. Thank you Mr Bowers for creating WGWT, it is a great idea!!
Whats Gone Well Has Pretty much Changed The Way I Have Thought Of Things. It Has Made Me Think Of The Positive Side Of Things Instead Of The Negative. Thank You For Changing Part Of My Life
Every time when something good happens it makes me think, that is something that has gone well. Also it makes me think of more positive things now. Its really makes a difference when you can be happy all the time!
Mr.Bowers : Wgwt has helped me through out Grade 3. But it just seems like it hasn’t made a difference! But I still think its a nice thing that you made this blog. Bye for now 🙂
