What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week we learned about colours. We learned about primary colours and secondary colours. Red , blue and yellow are primary colours. Orange , purple and green are secondary colours.
On Wednesday were the playoffs Vancouver played Chicago and Vancouver won! The score was 2-0. Luongo saved 32 shots.
Do you still remember the hockey score last night? I’ll give you a hint. Canucks played Chicago. Ok fine , I’ll tell you. Of course Canucks won! The final score was 2-0. Luongo saved 32 shots! It’s his fifth shutout this year!
Yesterday I had gym . We had to run around the track 2 times while the was pouring! When we finished we went inside and played a little sledge hockey. It was red vs yellow. I called it mustard vs ketchup. I think the score was 1-0 for us, the yellow.
This week has been crazy and fun at the same time!
We did Characters they went to the Canucks play offs against the chicago black hawks! They had front row seats.They had a lot of fun and a lot of junk food.!
In gym Mr. Mackay made us run two laps around the field … IN THE RAIN it was very cold and very wet then to make it worse it started to hail! That was too cold for me! I think I got a cold from the rain. Now i have a soar throat and a bad cold i don’t feel well… : ( When we came in from the run we played sledge hockey it warmed us up a little bit we played girls against girls and boy against boys it was fun.
We also did Geronimo Stilton it is a book series that our class is reading. I got a new book this week the one i am reading is called: Surf’s Up Geronimo. My favorite chapter of it so far is called : I’m too sexy for my fur (because he is a mouse)
Well you can definetly tell i had a great week and i will think of more crazy starter centances! P.S. Putrid cheese puffs is a Geronimo Stilton phraise! bye bye 🙂 !!!!
I had an Awesome week This week we did a lot of things like…… learning about Whales.
We learned that Whales can brush there teeth! Wait what just happened here. Did the week just end. Well… Back to Whales. Whales brush there teeth by rubbing their tiny teeth against other Whales teeth. Did you know that There are 11 species of Pacific and Atlantic Whales.
Guess What? The Canucks won the Playoffs! First I thought they wouldn’t win the first game but they did. We Won 2-0 ! We played against Chicago. They won the Stanley Cup two years in a row. We can’t let them win again. The Canucks WILL WIN THE STANLEY CUP 😉 ! This week we also played gym with Mr.Mackay. It was Awful we had to run two laps in the ”Cold Cold” rain. It was also hailing and raining super duper hard! We were soaking wet when we came inside. I and Avery were begging for Hot Chocolate…But we didn’t get any 🙁 But the next good thing happened we played sledge hockey! Plus + I was timer girl! I got to use Mr.Mackay’s iPhone. It was Fun! Well… After all…… I had an Amazing week!
