What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week my class played kick the can. We were having too much fun. Then after we all went to the park. I had a big smile.
I had a spectacular week! I am happy coming to school because on spring break I had nothing to do.
This week we played some hockey. I scored a funny goal. I was at my goalie’s net and I shot it and it was rolling slowly and went in. I had lots of chances but the players blocked it.
We wrote about Vancouver in our characters book. On Tuesday it was Vancouver’s 125th birthday. We learned a lot of history of Vancouver. In 1792 Captain George Vancouver arrived at Vancouver.
We were suppose to play inside but it was a sunny day so we played kick the can with Mr.Mackay. I kicked the can two times.
Ms.Newton showed us a video of kids playing the guitar.

OW!! I mean WOW!! we played Kick The Can with Mr.Makay! I hid where the gym door was.When some of my class mates kick the can they kick the can hard. We played it with Mr.Makay because it was sunny. Justin was just relaxing on the grass.
In characters we wrote about Vancouver so we had to study about Vancouver. Captain George Vancouver came from England and then got to Vancouver because he was searching for the North West Passage, but he never found the North West Passage. when Vancouver became a city it was burned. Some of our class mates relatives or parents come from Germany,Africa,India,China,England and Phillipines. I had a AWSOME WEEK!!!
Schools back! Yeah I can’t believe school is back all ready. I’m so happy to be with my friend’s. We got to play kick the can. Hockey was awesome I scored two goals and so did James.
We all did characters and I did wrote three pages. When I got home from school I went out side and played hockey and practice my wrist shots,slap shots. Then we had dinner and then we went outside to play with Riley for an hour. After that we watched the hockey game Canucks beat Minasota 5-0 what a great game. On spring break my grandpa took my brother and I swimming and bowling it was really fun on the way home we went for lunch at Mc Donolds.
This spring was awesome!
What a week! I had fun this week we got to play hockey with Ms.Newton and we got to do Characters. In Characters we learned all about Vancouver It was pretty fun. On Wednesday it was Vancouver’s Birthday. Vancouver is now 125 wow I never knew that Vancouver had a Birthday! And we got to do clay, we made elephants! after when they were all finished we painted them. We had so much fun this week! What a week we even got to play KICK THE CAN!!!!! 🙂
