What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week was a great week. This week we had characters, we did our eagles presentation, this week we also wrote in our characters, our title this time is Treasure in the attic. This week we also did art. Ms. Newton taught us how to use clay to make eagles, it was hard but it is still very fun! This week a band came to our school, they played lots of songs, it was good. This week we also had library, we started to film our green screen, it was super fun!! This week we did lots of other things, we did guitar, we had spelling test, we also had pizza day today.
This week was awesome!!!
Yesterday our class did clay eagles I finished on Wednesday then I helped some people. On Monday a band named Speed Control came to our school. I wasn’t there for it so my friend Jaclyn told me they had a contest to see who could be louder. I wish I was there. On march 21st it is my birthday. 🙂 🙂
I had a great week! This week a band called “Speed Control” came to our school! They sang some rock and roll songs to us! The leader, Graham said that if the drummer, Ian would buy all of us bacon flavoured ice cream! (but he didn’t, and that’s kind of disappointing). On Friday we had gym class. In gym we played a game of basketball. The score was 3 to 1. In characters we did a presentation about some eagle writing that we did. In characters we also made a rough draft for a piece of writing that we are doing. The name of the writing we are doing is called “Treasure In The Attic”. In Treasure In The Attic our character finds a golden treasure chest. WE HAD A GREAT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a great week! We got to do an eagle made out of clay. In library, we get to finish our green screen before spring break.
On Wednesday, we get to go to the computers and we got ideas about First Nations cedar.
This was a FUN WEEK!
Pizza day went well for me this week because the pizza was from fresh slice and it was so good and yummy. Characters went well for me this week because I was the first one to finish and in Characters we wrote about Treasure in the attic so I needed to think about first were I go to and I wrote that I go to my Grandparents’ house and they leave me and my brothers. Then we remembered about the attic so we needed to find a way to go in it. Playing soccer went well for me this week because I am good at it too and we played soccer outside but we do not play real soccer we always just take shots.
This week was awesome!!! First we had gym and we played hockey and we haven’t played it in a long time. Another thing is that we did is art, we did clay and made eagles. Today is Friday and we had gym. Also today is pizza day and for gym we have played basketball. We have not had basketball in a long time. A couple of weeks ago we had a field trip to the children’s art festival in Richmond. We haven’t played basketball like in 1 month so I am
really happy. Today for lunch i didn’t really have that much to do so I just helped wash the dishes. Today we are going to have the last time of writing on WGW before Spring Break. This week was great!!!!
