What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
this week was great!!! and I really mean it because we did so much of stuff. On Monday it was a day of and we could stay at home because of family day. Then on Tuesday we had a field trip and we went to the Children’s Art Festival we did a lot of stuff. Once we got there we waited for the next bus. then we went in the library and got to go to our tent to put our jackets away and then we went in the library. We got to do all sorts of things like we got to do art and get some balloons. On Wednesday we had Mr. Loat come in and we got to do book creator and I really enjoyed it. On Thursday, we were preparing for Valentines Day and we got to make cards but instead I made origami flapping birds. Today is Valentines Day for school and we got lots of stuff.
It was an awesome week! Today my class gave out Valentine cards to everyone in our class because Valentines Day is on Sunday. This week we also had our iPad unit with our iPad teacher, Mr. Loat. In iPads we finished our Coast Salish books and Shadow Puppet slideshows. It was also Mr. Loat’s last day teaching us so we all said goodbye to him. We also did some writing in our characters book, with our teacher, Ms. Newton. The writing was about our character going on a trip around Canada. This week my class and a few other classes went to the Children’s Art Festival. At the children’s Art Festival there were balloons, face painting, cartooning, dancing, tile art,salt sticks and jester hats! Going to the Children’s Art Festival was so much fun! WE HAD AN AWESOME WEEK!!!!!!!
This week was great. Today is Valentines Day. I’m working on my cards for my friends. We went to the art festival and I brought home my cardboard and my balloon sword. I did iPad with Mr. Loat too.
My favourite thing about this week is when we did are Valentine bags and cards. we get a bag and choose red, black and pink. First we made a half heart, then we cut it, then we cut outside and there is,a heart. We made a few hearts. We glued all of the hearts in the bag. On Thursday, we did characters. We wrote about Niagara Falls. After we were done we glued a picture of Niagara Falls we made. At lunch we played a game. You have to have a ball and some people have to shoot people the ball in the grass and the other team have to kick the ball to the wall.
I HAD A GREAT WEEK!!!!
It was a great week. Yesterday, I was handing out Valentine’s Day cards to everyone in my class. Also, my friends are handing out Valentine’s Day cards too. We also made a card for our teacher Ms. Newton. On Wednesday, we get to work on iPads with Mr. Loat and I made a book of First Nations Items on book creator. IT WAS A GREAT WEEK.
It was a great week! Today is pizza day!!!. We did a spelling test.
Today is my Dad’s birthday, he is 40 years old we had cupcakes , they were good.
