What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

My week was great. I am thankful this guy named Bob helped us stay on What’s Gone Well. He fixes bikes and we watched Bob’s Video about his garage which had lots of bikes. We did novel study and we read a new book call Shiloh. We also did cursive handwriting and we also did brain breaks. We also did math and characters about Alert Bay, we learned the symbols for the animals they use on the totem poles. Also the Vancouver Giants came and we do this program called Read To Succeed. We also did Mindful Smelling and we drew in our art journal. We also sang a Remembrance Day song. We got a new song called a It’s a Brand New Day in Guitar. Halloween was so fun!. We googled word’s tallest totem pole and collected facts about Alert Bay and we played Kahoot . We did library on Thursday. We did silent reading on Thursday. And the symbols for the animals they use.
This week we played hockey at gym. My finger got scraped and started to bleed. Also we had library and we got some books. We also played a game. Today we did guitar and we got a new song. We did characters and we went to Alert Bay. After we did that we watched a slide show. We did typing.com on Tuesday and I got 22 words per minute.
I am thankful for this guy who payed for us on what went well this week. On Thursday we did characters. In Characters we studied about Alert Bay, we searched about the world’s tallest totem pole. We found out it is one hundred and seventy three feet high and most totem poles have the eagle on the top. Then that’s what we did and I mostly enjoyed it.
This week was a great week! We made our characters go to Alert Bay! My character’s name is Kaitlyn! We played a game of hockey too! We also practiced our song for Remembrance Day! The song we are singing is called Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream. A few days ago we started our handwriting unit. In handwriting we are learning to write the letter “T'” “I” and “U”. We also played my friend Jasleen’s Kahoot on Thursday. I am thankful for friends to play with and laugh with and I am also thankful for the world or else I wouldn’t be here.
Hockey went well for me this week because it was fun. Library went well for me this week because it was fun and it was good because we got to take good books. First Nations went well for me this week because it was interesting and it has lots of cool facts. I am thankful for what’s gone well today at school. It was a nice and a great week!
My favourite thing about this week is when we did art. What we did is get a leaf from outside then get a black crayon and put the leaf under the paper and rubbed the black crayon on it. Then the leaf came on the paper. Also we had to press hard then we can see the leaf. Today we are goIng to paint, it was so much fun.
