What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week was awesome. Last week was Sports day! We got freezies and we got to play some games. My favourite game was liquorice Rush. Today we wrapped our Father’s day gift.
Yesterday it was pizza day. I had one pepperoni and a chocolate milk. Also on Thursday it was the book swap I got a book about school, survival and space. Last Friday it was sports day. I was red team. Our team came in 4th place.
This week was great. Yesterday in library we got to do the book swap. Yesterday we got to do mindful tasting and we got to eat chocolate and raisins. Today we got to wrap our father’s day gift. On Thursday Tayler’s dad brought homemade strawberry ice-cream. On Friday we had sports day. My favourite station was Destroy Ultron. I was on the green team A.K.A the Hulks. Our team won 3rd place. We also learned about Operation Smile. Operation Smile does free surgeries on children with cleft mouths and palates.
On Wednesday we did Mindful Tasting we got to taste a raisin and some chocolate. Yesterday Miss Panda came to help us. We also got to write in our characters book about this organization called Operation Smile and how they help people with cleft palates. Yesterday was also Pizza Day and I got to eat 2 pizzas. Today we got to wrap up our Fathers day card. Last Thursday we got to get strawberry ice cream from Tayler’s dad and it was made from real strawberries.
Last week on Friday we had sports day. My favourite game was the crab walk it was yummy too. My other favourite was the tug of war it was really fun. Last week we got ice cream from Tayler’s dad it was home made it was great I loved it. Yesterday we did characters about Operation Smile. We learned that other kids in the world have problems in their bodes so they need surgeries to fix their bodies. Did you know they have free surgeries because of their cleft lips and palates. Yestereday we did mindful tasting we had a raisin and a Purdys chocolate mmmm.
Today is Friday June 19 and we did our spelling test. I got 9+. I got pharmacy wrong I forgot the r. Did you know that next week Thursday is our last day. Last week Friday was sports day. I was on the blue team. The blue team got first place. I became friends with someone named Owen he is in grade 6.
