What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week we had an assembly and we got to watch a spirt video. There was a question for the month it was about what do you learn in school and why is important. We also got to write what we learn and why is it important I wrote that math is important because if you get older have to count money if you want to buy something. Yesterday we had a draw for principal for the day and when it was library we worked on a paper that said that we promise to keep the earth safe and we had to show the principal for the day and he gave us a sticker.
Yesterday there was an assembly. There was a spirit video, a question of the month and jokes from the grade 7 & 6. This is one of the jokes there was two kids called trouble & mind your own business one day they were playing hide & seek then a police came & the police said”whats your name” “mind you’re own business the police said “are you looking for trouble?” yes.
Math is important because when I’m older it will help me.
On Wednesday Miss Panda came to our class we did math. Today we did spelling test I only got one wrong. On Tuesday we did track attack. At school I am learning art It is important because in art you can draw whales.
This week was great. We had track attack. Yesterday was an inside day and at lunch we got to go to the gym. Yesterday was also principal of the day. Maahdi won the principal of the day draw. We also had library and we did promises about how to make the world a better place. We had to show principal Maahdi our promises and he gave us stickers. We got to choose what stickers we wanted I got a blue smiley face sticker with purple glasses. Yesterday we had an assembly and I got a certificate. We also watched this month’s slide show and the question of the month was what are you learning in school? and why is it important?. My answer was in school I am learning math and it is important because we can use math to find the price of things we buy easier.
This Thursday we had an assembly. The question of the month is .. what are you learning in school and why is it important? I am learning about my brain where the P.F.C (prefrontal cortex) and where the amygdala and hippocampus are. Why is learning about the brain is important? Learning about the brain is a good thing because we learn how our brains function. Yesterday was also principal for a day Mahdi was drawn he won. He got to speak in the assembly and ring bells and so much more.
It has been a great week. Yesterday, we went to the assembaly and the new principal for a day was “Mahdi”. Then, some students came to tell jokes. After, we made our own jokes in class.
At school, I learned about Handwriting. Its important because you need to put every word together.
