What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This was the best week ever. Today is Valentine’s Day I got a lot of candy. I gave out monster high cards they came with strawberry lollipops. On the box it said clawsum strawberry I tasted it it was yummy and tasty. On Wednesday we went to the Richmond Art Festival, I got a hat and we saw Barbara Reid. We made our own pictures out of plasticine. I made a squirrel picture.
Yesterday Dasha came to our class and she handed out some animal fur, the fur was soft. Then she handed out an owl. The owl was made out of bunny fur. On Tuesday Elliot came to our class, he planted some seeds that we are going to grow in the garden.
This week was AWESOME. Yesterday Dasha came to our class and she handed out things from Nunavut. We had a ticket draw for the things she brought. I won an owl statue made out of rabbit skin and a woollen butterfly. On Tuesday Elliot came and brought seeds for us to plant in the greenhouse. In the morning we got to hand out our valentine cards. On Wednesday we went to the art museum and we did plasticine art with Barbara Reid. I made a dragon picture out of plasticine.
Today is pizza day, I am so excited. We did art and made orca whales. My favourite facts about orcas are how much they weigh. In March there is a talent show. Brooke, Bailey, Adi and I are going to perform a secret song. Our band is called the Girley Girls. We all chose that name. Did you know that they all want me to do a front flip so they have me practicing. I am not so sure about doing a front flip yet I will try though. My favourite day is Friday because we draw a ticket I hope that I win this week. Today there was an assembly and I got a certificate. my dad came he made my day. He doesn’t smile a lot so I was happy to see him smile. My sister wanted to come but she couldn’t because she had school. Did you know my little baby sister was up in the morning so I got to play with her. Yesterday I got to go to Wendy’s, my dad got my sister and I got a vanilla milk shake.
Today is pizza day. I am going to have 2 pepperoni pizzas and a chocolate milk. Also today the Richmond Sockeyes came to our school. We have been offered free tickets to a game.
Yesterday Harsh T came back and on Wednesday Miss Panda helped us to do the whales picture. We did chalk pastel and oil pastel. Yesterday we wrote about orcas. We looked at the computer to get some information. My favourite fact about orcas is orcas are in the dolphin family.
