What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.

This week we did it can come true in characters. We also did a college on the iPads. I helped Andrei with his college. Miss Panda (who was in Ms Newton’s class) came to our class. We’re studying whales. We did a lot of BRAIN BREAKS!
On Wednesday Miss Panda was in our class. She came to help because she wants to be a teacher. She used to be in Ms. Newton’s class in grade 4!. Yesterday we played a game outside. The game was called soccer.
I am so excited school started. We started learning about whales. Did you know a whale eats fish, krill, shrimp, squid, sea lions, walruses, seals, sharks and seabirds. The smallest whale in the world is the dwarf sperm whale. Blue whales are the biggest whales in the world. Blue whales weigh 100-120 tonnes and they are 25 meteres (males) 26.2 meters (females) long.
Today it is pizza day . We even saw the kiln because we made pinch pots on Tuesday and used water. In Characters we wrote a letter to Santa it was fun. On Wednesday Michael Bortolotto came and spoke to us and his message was don’t bully others, he said everybody is different.
This week we did clay pinch pots. We did a character’s letter to Santa and we also wrote a letter to Santa! Today is PIZZA DAY! We got to see Micheal Bortolotto he does not speak very well because he has Cerebral Palsy and when he started to talk I started to cry. The way he told the story Apples And Pineapples he was really brave. Everybody is different.
