What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.


This has been a fun week. Yesterday we did umbrella men with oil pastels and paint and we finished everything. We had all week to bring in cupcake money and I gave my money just in time. Today we got our cupcakes and I got a candy cane one. We also did characters. In gym we did some sports. I finished printing Theres A Mouse In My House in my Characters book.
Today is the cupcake sale. They were so good. Yesterday we finished everything including our art. On Wednesday we made characters, it is called There is a Mouse in my House.
This week was spectacular. We got cupcakes I got a chocolate cupcake with white icing and chocolate sprinkles. On Thursday we had characters we did a draft on where in the world do I live. My character lives in Calgary. We also got a map and we learned the continents after we put blue shavings and rubbed it, it created a colour on the page. We also did a drawing of umbrella men then we coloured it in with pastel. We are singing at the Christmas concert. My favourite song is Old Toy Trains.
Yesterday we did a characters page, we did Where in the world do I live. In the afternoon we finished our shaving of the oceans on our map of the continents with our pencil crayons. Then we finished our umbrella men.
This week we did an umbrella man with oil pastel and on the road we used this super watery paint that looked really dark but it turned out grey and we used perspective for the road. Today we got cupcakes and I got two. Yesterday we got a map of the world and we got to shave blue onto the oceans.
This was a great week. Yesterday we finished our umbrella man picture. Then we got to do pencil crayon shavings on our map of continents and oceans.
