What’s Gone Well Today ® at School
What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Last week was so much fun! It was Halloween and I won a round in bingo. After school I went to my best friend Kisha’s house for a playdate. After my mom came and we went trick-or-treating. Soon we got tired and we went to my aunt’s house. She had decorated it so much I did’t even know it was her house. After we went to my house and had a sleepover, we were planning to stay up all night but my mom said we had to go to bed at 11:30. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!
I had the best week at school last week because Mrs.Newton was dressed up as Ms.Smith and I dressed up as a vampire. On Halloween we got to play bingo and if you won on the first round you can get any toy from the toy box and on the second round you can get a cupcake or Smarties. Since it was Halloween the Smarties were called Scaries and after bingo we got to eat them. At the end of the game we got lots of candy. On Monday we got to go to gym and guitar and it was lots of fun!
This week was great. On Halloween I was a zombie and I got lots of candy. Yesterday we made our own quiz on Kahoot. We made mice out of a box of Scaries. On Halloween Ms. Newton dressed up as Ms. Smith.
Hi Ms. Newton! I’ve missed you so much. I think I forgot to say goodbye when I left the school last year. My new school has been great! I’ve met some amazing people during this school year, I really miss going to your class after school. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have gym, and school starts at 8:30 – 2:30. Its a bit different and I am still settling in. Also whats really different is that for lunch we go outside first then come inside to eat, this new schedule is so different. My teacher is the best (not better than you though) she loves to do science, and I think one of my favourite subjects in science. I’ve really missed my friends, but I still keep in-touch with some people. I can’t believe I still remember my WGW username and password, its been 2 years since I’ve wrote on WGW. I am deciding to write because I wanted to tell you all about whats happening with my life, and I also really missed you! I wanna go back in time to 3rd grade to be in your class again. When I was in your class, I won almost all ticket draws! I wanna visit so bad, but.. I can’t find a day to go. I am really excited for halloween, Im going trick-or-treating with my best friends Sarah and Michelle. How are you by the way? i miss playing the guitar with you, and when Larissa, Vanessa, Sophia Y., Sophia I., Maddy and I made the song “We Can Control What We Do” yesterday I looked that that video, and realized u can’t see me, but thats okay. Thanks for reading Ms. Newton! if you don’t remember me, my name will probably ring a bell.
