What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
WOW! It has been a spectacular week. On Monday we had track and field. I did high jump and long distance. It was really fun. We also have track and field today. On Tuesday we had gym and computers. At gym Amarai, Darren and Aaron showed us some cool tricks with a basketball. At computers we were doing some posters for the Kingswood Band. On Wednesday we had HAT AND GUM day! It’s the only day you could chew gum at school! After a magician called Mr. Fish came to our school and did so many cool tricks. On Thursday we did Characters. We did Treasure In The Attic. It’s our title for Characters. Today we had an assembly. I am looking forward to the next week.
Hi it`s Darren.A. We had assembly today, it was div 6 :). We started track attack and it is so much fun. When we played basketball Aaron, Amarai and I taught our class tricks! Today is Pizza day and our class almost won for Pizza party. Our school raised so much money from the Canadathon!
This week has been okay. It wasn’t my best week because I wasn’t here on Monday. But it was fun:). So anyways on Monday I wasn’t here on Monday my brother Kain had a doctor’s appointment.
on Tuesday I came back to school and we played basketball in gym. Darren A, Aaron and Amrai showed us basketball tricks. Darren A showed us how to dribble very low. Aaron showed us how to dribble the basketball and dribble it under his legs, it’s easy. Lastly Amarai showed us how to shoot a basketball better because everyone knows how to shoot a basketball in a hoop. Also on Tuesday we did novel. The novel we are reading is Different Dragons. We were writing about our fears because the boy in the story is afraid of dogs.
on Wednesday it was hat and gum day. Hat and gum day is a day we bring gum to school and chew it. Also we have to bring a hat. The only reason why it’s called hat and GUM day is because we are not allowed to eat gum at school. Also we were supposed to have track attack but we had an assembly.
on Thursday this guy named Mr. Fish came to Kingswood and told us awesome magic tricks.
Also Tuesday we did tissue paper flowers the glue looked like honey!
On Thursday we did characters I love characters it’s so fun. For characters we did treasure in the attic.

This week has been good:D. Today is pizza day and my sister’s class won! They are going to have a pizza party, good for them!
In Characters we wrote about treasure in the attic and after we got to make a picture about what we saw in the treasure chest and it was fun .
On Wednesday it was hat and gum day. We had to wear a hat and chew a gum it was fun .
This week we have been having Track Attack and some of the things that I have done are long jump and long ran. It is fun because we can be active. On Wednesday Mr.Fish showed us the ballon trick, center of gravity and showed as how to make a bubbles disco balls it was fun.
hi! It’s me, Maddy. This week has been good!
We did art! We made tissue paper flowers! We first picked different colour tissue paper and cut them then we glued them on a big piece of paper with special glue stuff that looked like honey! We made a vase too! and glued that on after we made all the flowers and glued them on with the special glue stuff!
We are reading a novel called Different Dragons and we do a lot of little activities about emotional reactions and learning that we should express our feelings to other people and share our emotions and how we feel! The boy who is the main character’s name is Ben he is scared of dogs but doesn’t want to admit it to his aunt because he is scared to admit it!
In gym we played four ball its exactly like dodge ball but instead of playing it the long way we play it side ways! We also played hockey and basketball! Darren A., Amarai and Aaron all had stations and showed us different basketball tricks!
We also had a special visitor called Mr. Fish come and show us some cool magic tricks and Amarai got chosen to help with a feather balancing act!
We also had track attack we did sprint, long jump and high jump! We also did long distance!

It has been a fantastic week. We did characters about a treasure chest. I wrote that my character was staying at his grandma and grandpa’s house. I wrote 4 and a half pages! I took 1 and a half pages for my 4th paragraph, I just could not stop writing! I thought of doing 5 pages but then I just remembered that I had a basketball game in 10 minutes. Then my mom came and got angry but I still wrote some more I was so interested in it. Then we had gym with Mr. Naso. First we played warball girls vs boys, the boys beat the girls badly. After we played European handball.
