What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
This week has been a cool week. We shared our art portfolio at the student-led conference. We also shared our Characters book, my parents liked the watercolour pencil crayon painting of my house the best. I also shared my Mice At Centre Ice notebook and then I taught them how to draw a 3D tin can using white chalk.
Hi it’s Priya. This has been an amazing week. We had gym with Mr.Naso it was really fun. We played hockey. Yesterday I had my conference. I showed my mom my art portfolio, Mice At Centre Ice and I taught her how to draw a 3D can with chalk. My mom liked my mice at center ice best. Today we might not play kick the can because it is raining. Bye
It was an amazing week! We had our conferences yesterday and on Wednesday. Mine was on Wednesday. My dad came to the conference. I showed him my art portfolio, my characters and my Mouse In The Motorcycle. I even read him a paragraph of the Mouse In The Motorcycle. After that I taught my dad an art lesson. He did a really good job.
We played lacrosse on Wednesday and on Thursday we played hockey with Mrs. Naso. It was so much fun!
In characters we did some writing about a mouse in our house. It was so much fun! Today we made a collage.
It was an amazing week!
It has been a great week. I had a conference with my Mom. We looked through Mouse and the Motorcycle and we looked through Characters. My mom likes my pet the best.
This week we also painted a picture of Desolation Sound and we played lacrosse. We also ran laps on Tuesday when it was nice and sunny.
This week has been good. We had conferences it was fun we did some art with chalk we drew a can. We also showed our parents some of our textbooks. It was a lot of fun.
In characters we did some writing called “there’s a mouse in my house”. It was kind of funny, but I had to have it for homework. I love characters its so much fun.
In gym we played hockey and lacrosse. I love floor hockey more than any thing……. in gym. But for lacrosse… I’m not so great! I mean its still fun but I’m just not so skilled.
I had a lot of fun this week.

It has been a great week. On Wednesday we had student-led conferences, my time was 4:15. I showed my mom my portfolio she said that she liked my 3D can and she drew a 3D can. After I showed my characters book and my character Jacob Jones. My mom liked him and she told me her favourite, it was the Halloween writing she said that she likes my pumpkin. After I showed her my math book. I didn’t want to show her but she said that you have to. Then I shared my mouse and motorcycle I read her a page and my mom said she likes it. Then I shared my spelling book my mom said that my spelling is okay. It was very fun sharing my work with my mom. On Wednesday we played hockey in gym I got a hat trick it was awesome. On Thursday we played hockey again I got choose to be goalie by Mr. Naso and my team played Darren A’s team the first shot on me was by Darren but I made glove save. After Karanpreet had 7 breakaways but I made all saves and got a shutout I made 21 saves. It has been a great week.
