What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Hi, This is Sophia. I. from Kingswood
This week in gym we played hockey. I was defense and saved a goal. I was really happy because I never saved a goal before.
In art,we did a picture of a puck. We traced a smiling faced puck on special paper, then, we pressed it on big paper with a ruler and it made like a print. Our plan- oops! I forgot something, since it was a small picture we did four of them on the big paper. Now, our plan is to paint it with yellow, blue, red, purple, orange and green then outline it with a sharpie. It took a lot of work and we’re still doing it, but I know it is going to turn out great!
When we did computers Gracy and I did the comic. I’m always excited to do it. getting in the poses and making up a fantasy story is really fun. That is what we did.
So much is happening today! of course it’s Friday! 😀 It’s pizza day, ticket draw, kick the can, F.S.A’s and, this is just for me………. girls night! it’s this really fun thing you go to every Friday night, I’m going with Dasha and Valentina, maybe Grace. 😀 😛 🙂 ;D
I had an – oops, again I forgot, I’m writing a play for our assembly.
I had an AMAZING week!
This week has been super. We got to do sgraffito. Sgraffito means you draw a painting and you colour with oil pastel. Then you paint it with black paint and you get a tooth pick and you carve a design.
It has been a great week
We played hockey with Mr. Naso I got hurt 2 times :(. We are reading a new novel called Mouse And The Motorcycle 😀 We played lacrosse first we hit the wall then we got a partner then it was game time. 😀 🙂
It has been a great fun week. We are reading this new book called The Mouse And The Motorcycle 🙂 . We only read one chapter in the The Mouse And The Motorcycle. But still. Its about this mouse his name is Ralph. And this kid named Keith left his motorcycle car on his bed and their was a mouse in the room. So the mouse probably goes on the motorcycle.
In gym we played lacrosse and hockey it was very hard to play lacrosse.
Also my birthday is in three weeks its on Sunday. Feb. 3 2004.
We also did sgraffito.Its this thing like you have to put random lines then you put oil pastels in the boxes and then when you’re finished you put black oil pastels on the lines. After paint it with black paint then put soap in the paint.Then when it is dry scratch it with a tooth pick.

It has been an spectacular week. On Monday we did guitar. In gym we played a game of lacrosse and on Wednesday we played hockey. On Thursday we did characters and we made our own paragraphs and it is about our character is going to an Vancouver Canucks game.
We made our next book’s paragraph.

Do you know how cute mice are? Well they are SUPER ADORABLE! We even started writing a book called Mice At Centre Ice 2!, the next book for Mice At Centre Ice. We played a game called lacrosse, I was a defence and I scored a goal! 😀 We finished our sgraffito, it`s took me like forever!
