What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
It has been an awesome week. We made clay stars and clay trees. We all loved
gym yesterday 😛 oh this is Dylan. We also have kick the can today. I ran 2 laps
yesterday and my total is 41. Today we all practiced our guitar performance.
Hi, it’s Sophia I, from Kingswood. This week we did many things like CLAY. I wrote CLAY in capitals because it’s my favourite kind of art. More than paint or pastels. Any way in CLAY we made little stars and trees . first, we cut the CLAY with a cookie cutter then we took tooth picks and created a design. My star had a star in the middle then long lines with little lines coming out. My tree though…… my tree was not the best I’ll say that. It had lines, I think that’s it. even if my tree was bad and my star was good, CLAY is still my favourite kind of art, I could do CLAY all day!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😛 🙂
In gym Mr. Naso actually didn’t teach us gym. Instead our substitute teacher Mr.C taught us gym. It was funny because when Mr. Naso showed up to pick us up he didn’t know he wasn’t teaching us gym. It was weird. Any way in gym Mr.C said that if we didn’t behave we had to do this thing called four in thirty. But when he explained what four and thirty was to us, some of us wanted to play it so we ended up playing half four and thirty and half hockey.
When we did computers we searched up water cycle and earth’s axis. Water cycle was easy but earth’s axis was hard. Nothing came up when I typed it in. On Wikipedia it said it didn’t exist. But a cool fact on the water cycle was that two thirds of your body is made out of water.
In Characters we made a letter to Santa. That was fun. In mine my character said I would leave ginger cookies and chocolate milk for him. Also my character said she wanted a at kit and clothes . And Sophia Y made a letter from her to Santa. She really put it in the mail!
It was a FANTASTIC week!!!
Hi its Maddy this week has been fantastic. We made tiny Santa they were so cute we made them for characters. We also made big Santa with a huge beard. Also in characters we made a letter to Santa, his postal code is HOH OHO.
My favourite part of the week was making clay. We made stars and trees we’re going to paint them next week. I made the star double sided the tree was normal but it was so much fun.
Every day my class has been practicing songs in the gym or the music room. We’ve also been singing on Christmas morning, Christmas times a coming, and old toy trains with division, 6. My class is also singing with the guitar for the next assembly. My favourite song is Christmas times a coming.
Yesterday we had a T.O.C named Mr. C. He was nice in gym but strict at work time. But he was still an awesome substitute.
It’s been an awesome week. On Thursday we had gym with Mr. C and he said if we are bad we are going to play 4 30 he said there are 4 lines and the whole class has to do it all under 30 seconds. But first we played hockey, I scored 1 goal then we played 4 30. It was great!
Also we did science about water cycles and the earth’s axis. Then we did computers and we had to get facts about water cycles and the earth’s axis, it was great. On Tuesday we had gym with Ms. Newton and had to do 2 or 3 laps I did 3 laps then we came back and played hockey.
We did a letter to Santa and made a Santa and we also made a big Santa, it was fun! Then we did our good copy folded it and put it in our pocket which we made in our characters book. We practiced our guitar performance and we used chairs and benches and we did some songs in front of div 3 It has been an awesome week!
Hi, it`s Sophia.Y. This week was AWESOME! Because we did a letter from our characters and I did a personal letter to Santa from myself. Ms. Newton put a stamp on it and we sent it by mail! On Tuesday I think we did a big Santa face with a pipe. Also we are getting our report cards today. We will be performing on our guitars soon! Okay I don`t know but I think we did clay on Tuesday we did a Christmas tree and a star as ornaments. Oh we had a T.O.C. yesterday, his name was Mr.C. And guess what, we did a mini version of jolly oh Santa! On guitar my favorite song is On Christmas Morning! Also yesterday with Mr.C we learned about the earth`s axis and the water cycle. We even found facts about the water cycle and the earth`s axis. We even sang songs with div.6. We sang song like Christmas Times A Coming, Old Toy Trains and On Christmas Morning! This week was really fun!
It has been a awesome week ! On Thursday we did Earth Axis, we did water cycle and we did gym with Mr. C. our teacher is Mr. C too. Mrs. Newton was sick. On Monday we did our last centre we did Santa Beard. On Tuesday we did gym with Mrs. Newton we played skittles I almost knocked everybody but someone knock me out. Next Friday we have
assembly we our doing a performance with our guitars.
