What’s Gone Well Today at School is a question, in fact a movement designed to shift our thinking, to bring out the best in our own experiences at school, with the friends and new faces in our classes . We’re encouraging students and teachers to share experiences that have gone well. We hope that people will find more highlights in their day, and share what they are enjoying in their learning and playing at school.
Hello! It’s Halima. We have been doing so many fun things, like drama, Characters and spelling! Drama is when you act. Yesterday we had gym with Mr. Naso. We made sparkling stars! They are grey with silver stars!
It was so much fun!!!!
Hi,it’s Sophia I. This week we did alot of things. One of my favourite things we did was drama. I never did drama before so it was a great experience. In drama, we did little silent performances, it was really fun. We got in groups of three then Mrs. Guillemin would come around and tell us what we had to do. My group was with Sophia Y and Halima. What we had to act out was a waitress, a kid and a mom, and the kid would scream and cry because she didn’t like the food the waitress brought. I was the waitress Sophia Y was the kid and Halima was the mom. I think we did really well.
In Characters we did our pet. My pet was very cute, it was an otter named Bubble. Bubble could do lots of tricks like play dead, high five, and dance. Bubble also ate a lot of food. Most people would mistake Bubble for a ribbon seal because of the colour of her short fur. But actually she is a sea otter. We also did a pop out mouth.
All of the grade fours had to do an M.D.I survey. It was very long. It took us two days to finish. All the grade threes would get to play outside and go on the computers.
We also made sparkling stars. They are grey and have shiny silver star stickers that we stuck on our stars. Then mrs.newton would hang them up in our classroom.
When we played gym we learned lacrosse and we played skittles, it was a very fun and active gym time.
Also we sang songs like Old Toy Trains and Nutten for Christmas that was also fun.
And today is pizza day!!!! I’m so happy it is pizza day because for my snack I had sushi! 😀 😛 🙂

It has been a great week. We had gym with Ms. Newton before the grade 3s were doing gym with Mr. Higo and they played hockey then after our MDI survey we came and played hockey and my team won 2-0 I scored 2 goals and we made stars and hang at up in the class.
Hello it me again. This week we had a lot of fun. This week we got to make a pet for our characters and my character ‘s pet is a hamster and I drew a cute picture of him eating corn with this friends :). The pet I made is named sparkle. Also the activities my character’s pet and him do are mostly chase each other. So they get to have their fun. Also we learned about drama with
Ms. Guillemin. Our team was a sewing machine and the funny part was when I was a 5 year old kid sucking on a lolly pop. I hope you had an AWESOME week.
Hi! it has been an AMAZING and FUN week. We did characters and we made these pets that move there mouths when we move the book. Also we made stars and that we put other stars on the star there was a lot of stars going around and when we were doing it we made really big mess we were even playing around in the papers it was on the floor all the papers so that’s how we were in the papers.
Guess what we also did drama with Mrs.Guillemin, it was very fun. Maddy, Darren and me were doing this thing that Darren was the bad driver and Maddy was teaching him to drive but it he was bad and also Maddy was saying stop to Darren to stop driving and I was the kid at the back trying to stop Darren from driving I was shaking his chair to get him to stop.
Also we did hockey, soccer, lacrosse and skittles it was fun also Mr.Higo took the grade threes to play and I’m a grade three by the way.
Also this morning I got one ticket just for getting the last word in the spelling test now I had three then Mrs.Newton checked are desks and so I had a clean desk so then I I had four tickets so today I think I am going to win the ticket draw but if I don’t the ticket are going to be a wast just joking I don’t think anything is a waste.
Also Justin and Meghan came right now its so fun with them.
It has been a spectacular week! We did drama with Mrs. Guillemin. We did little plays without talking. I did it with Darren S and Vanessa. Our play was about a five year old child getting a shot at the doctor’s and the mom had to hold him down. I was the doctor, Vanessa was the mom, and Darren was the five year old child. We also did art and made silver stars that sparkle. We made a big mess. We had Characters on Thursday. We wrote about our pets. Mine is a seal and it’s name is Louseal. We made a mouth that opens and closes. In gym we had stations. There was skittles, hula hoops, scooters with mini sticks, and lacrosse. After that, we did one game of lacrosse. On Friday we did guitar. We also have pizza day today!
